Course Curriculum Overview
I opted for this course because of the job opportunities. Almost 40 faculty members are here. Class strength is 90. Faculties are very friendly. Qualification of the faculties is MSc nursing. We are semester students. Termly exams are conducted. It is somewhat difficult to pass.
Placement Experience
Eighth-semester students are eligible for placements. The exact number of companies visited is not known. Almost five to six companies visit here. They are making offers too. Fifty percent of students get placements.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees for the course are 141500 for the first year. For the 2nd 3rd and 4th year, it is 129500. Fees for the books are not included in this. It is collected separately year-wise. Prior to each university exam, exam fees are also collected.
Campus Life
Life at the campus is good. Most of the programs are conducted. The annual fest comes in the month of January. So many books and journals are available in the Library. College gives more importance to arts and sports. There is an association for the students. i.e;SNA(Students Nurses Association).
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facilities are provided by the college. The rent of the hostel is 72000 per year. Three or four members are present in a room. Meal quality is just average. The menu is also average. The registration process is through college. If I opt for PG, I will be in a town.
Admission
I applied for the NRI quota. Eligibility of the course was 12th pass, with 50 percent marks. The application form was given by the college. The application form fee was 800 something. The admission process is very lengthy.
