Course Curriculum Overview

5

Well, I opted for the B.tech+Mtech 6-year course which was the only option available for paid quota candidates. Usually, professors and scholars are the ones who teach us. Truth be told the scholars seemed more friendly and supportive in the academics. The reason why I chose this course was that I already had a way of computer hardware and component handling. Web development was already a part of my school academic subjects namely(python, mysql, and HTML), so choosing web development was not a hard part for me, and trust me the faculty has a classic grip in their respective subjects, they were not pdf spooned instead they used to recommend us to go through books, which actually helped in gaining the complete knowledge on a subject or a topic. The faculty strength was always adequate in ratio. But we all enjoyed the free periods and free time in this college, not like the colleges which just follow the 9-6 pm routine. The sem exams were timed perfectly nonetheless the mid-exams.

Internships Opportunities

4

The internship opportunities are strictly after the 2nd year. But the college has a newly constructed center namely INCUBATION CENTRE, which hires young experienced candidates for temporary assistance. In the end, it all depends on the level of experience and knowledge an intern holds to uphold his position. But strictly don't expect any payment instead you should hope for experience and knowledge to grow.

Placement Experience

3.5

From the 6 semester the students are eligible for off-campus placement rounds and for the on-campus rounds are eligible from the 8th semester onwards. Almost 80 percent of the students get placed on the first round itself not including the students who don't have an intention of doing the B.tech. on-campus companies include(TCS, INFOSYS, and ACCENTURE) and the highest package which was offered to a Software developer engineer in off-campus was 88 LPA at a company named Atlacean. Another good part here is the college recruits Scholars who have down Master in AU. So the highest package offered was 88 LPA off campus and the lowest 2-3 LPA non-it jobs.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is no fee hike in this college, we have to pay 2lakhs annually and also in a one-time payment. But this year our juniors are having a fee hike to 205000 a 5k more but only for the first year, after that the payment of the fee is normalized to 2 lakhs, and another good part of the college is that it provides approximately 0% interest rate loans. We all know candidates having an average income of 5 lakhs and above can be financially ready in these colleges. Compared to the colleges in ANDHRA PRADESH it really is affordable. And yes the cost to study is completely zero, you only need to pay for the academic fee. The college has a central library which provides us 'N' number of books, trust me guys U won't even open one of them as to choose which one you want to study. The college is divided into 2 campuses namely the north and south campuses. Our btech branch is located in the north campus. Well, coming to the campus jobs TCS is a mass recruiter here offering an average of 10Lpa.

Campus Life

5

Life at the AU is somewhat undefinable, I would find people of different nationalities in here. Events? Well when you come for it, events are organized on a daily basis. But the special events are popularized by the faculty and 90% of the students participate in it. The small events usually don't grab that much attention, I used to look out for these event clubs after they were completed. Tech fest this year was held at the womens college which was a lot of fun, competitors from different colleges participated in it. When it comes to sports and CCA activities it AU College is known for its culture and sports curriculum in the state. Sports namely boxing, football, cricket, handball, badminton volleyball, and wrestling are considered in the inter-college selections, and the NCC in this college in highly renovated for it regulations and selection process, no type of malpractice takes place when it comes to CCA or sports but in reality, we should be able to manage both.

Admission

I wasn't aware of the admission process at Andhra University lets keep it short as (AU). The common process of admission into govt affiliated colleges or govt colleges was through competitive exams generally some of them were EAPCET, CUET JEE MAINS, etc. but I was not aware that there would be a paid quota for AU college as getting a seat in AU through EAPCET was considered somewhat as a great breakthrough in my life. Because getting a rank between 1-2000 is not so easy in these exams out of approximately 2,00,000 candidates. Well, Ididn't have that luck and also the hard work in it so I didn't expect any seat in this college, then there was a lucky incident in my life where I met one of my schoolmates who obviously showed this path. Kudos to him for his information. After writing the entrance exam which is conducted by AU named AUCET. To be honest, the entrance exam is no exam at all. Now, after completing my 1st year in this college life looks more meaningful.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chose mechanical (robotics). As they euipped with new equipment's of robotics I have inspired a lot and chose to go with this course. This course helps to understand the mechanical engineering an also robotics. It helps us to understand about the mechanism in hardware. It helps to understand about robot infrastructure and about drones. For this course if there is more depth in robotics subjects than it can better. The frequency and timing is good as they maintain a certain period of time gap between the exams and the difficulty level is also good. If studied for a week we can understand up to some level and have a chance to pass the exams.
