Course Curriculum Overview
I took mechanical engineering. The Faculty-to-student ratio is good. It is 20:1 . Most of the faculty members are Ph.D. holders, and some are retired IIT professors. Their teaching is awesome. Graded quizzes are held regularly and are quite difficult.
Internships Opportunities
Internship opportunities are decent. It is difficult to get internships in college but you can easily get an internship off campus and it needs hard work and skill. It can be a difficult task to get an internship.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees are hiked up by 10% every year. From the second year, there are teacher assistantships. The normal scholarship is based on the JEE percentile in the first year and from 2nd year it is based on CGPA. You can easily get a scholarship if your cgpa exceeds 9.25.
Campus Life
Campus Life is quite awesome. Every weekend, there are many events where we can show our skills. Many talks from guest speakers are held at regular intervals. The sports facilities are good. Classrooms are fully air-conditioned and furnished. There are approx. all basic clubs for improvement of skills.
Hostel Facilities
All rooms are air-conditioned but you have to clean your own room. Mess is quite good compared to other hostels. The quality of the food is also good. Hostels are affordable 52000 per year. But the washrooms of hostels are decent.
Admission
Addmission in LNMIIT is solely based on jee main percentile with its own councelling process. You have to separately apply for its counseling process in 2023, the cutoff for CSE was 96-97 for CCE 95-96, for ECE 94-95, and for Mechanical it was 93-94 percentile.
