Course Curriculum Overview
Chose this course due to the emerging demand for semiconductors plus a good coding culture. The faculty is average. The gender ratio is decent. Exams are average. 2-3 hours of study daily to get good CPI. 2 exams are conducted every semester mid-semester and end-sem.
Internships Opportunities
Many companies like Microsoft and Google, de shaw, Atlassian come. I am in the first year so I don't know much about it. but the college is really good for placements for sure. if you want just placements then go for this college.
Placement Experience
Placements are super. The only thing college has is placements. People generally come here for placements only. Its ECE placement is higher than the CSE placements of many NITs. The highest package is 1.18 cr and 95% placement ratio.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees are high I think. Mess fees are high I think 25000 per semester but the quality of food is the same as the previous years. I didn't get any scholarship or assistance till now. The cost of the study is a little bit high for lower middle-class people
Campus Life
Annual fest culrav and tech fest Aavishkaar happens. It is decent. Books are available like 4 5 of the same copy. Robotics and CC clubs are present. Ecell is also present. many activities always go on campus.
Hostel Facilities
4 seater room. !st eyear hostels are good but rest other hostels are very bad. meal quality hasnt improved but mess fees has improved. Registration process are simple. SVBH is good hostel. final year hostels are very good as they are built recently
Admission
The campus is lush green. Many clubs to try 2 cafes are also present inside the campus. Some of the other activity is happening all the time. I chose ECE so it is a bit hectic for me but the branches are chill, especially computer science. A Robotics club is present which I feel is very good. The whole college has a very good coding culture. It has 2 supercomputers. In labs, although we get to do all the experiments most of the equipment is outdated and doesn't work. Generally, outputs don't come right. Seniors are supportive. There is 0% ragging in college. Attendance is strict in college. Greater than 75% is compulsory. College is very safe for girls. I think WGC is present in this college only. Mess food is acceptable (some things are good but some are very bad). Improvement is required in infrastructure.
