MNNIT A great old NIT

The B.Tech in chemical engineering curriculum here in MNNIT is very good. Our college follows latest syllabus according to NEP. The faculty here is very highly qualified. Few of the professors are too good. Faculty student ratio is also quite good. Like there is 1 professor per 50 students. Modern teaching methods are used by the professors. Exams are also held timely.

Many big companies come here to hire students for the role of the intern. Some of those companies are Amazon, Adobe, Microsoft, Oracle, Mediatek, Qualcomm, Reliance, Samsung, etc. Caompanies come for both software role and non-tech roles. Most of the companies provide good stipend. Many companies give more than 1 lakh/month as stipend. So overall the internship scenario is also quite good in MNNIT.

Our college placements are one of the best among all the engineering colleges present in India. We are the second best NIT in terms of placement. Our college average package for 2023 batch was near 20 lakh per annum. More than 90 % of our college students got placed in 2023. Placement is one thing regarding which a student won't regret joining our college MNNIT.

For 4 year B.Tech program the total fees is approx 10 lakhs for a hosteller. The hostel fees is 24000 per year and mess fees is 50000 per year. College provides scholarships to students whose family income is below 5 and 1 lpa. In addition to this many various other schemes are also running in college to support financially weak students.

I have experienced awesome campus life in MNNIT campus. There are many cultural societies and tech clubs running under Studend Activity center which help us to explore extra co-curricular activities. There is also one big central library present in our campus which has thousands of books regarding various topics. Classrooms are of mixed type both old and new.

The first year boys hostel is 4 sharing . The hostel consists of seven floors with two mess at the ground floor. The rooms are big. There is a canteen and a normal general store on the ground floor of our hostel . For me , the mess food is just okay. Everyone who applies for hostel accomodation gets a hostel here. There are four meals provided in the mess- breakfast,lunch, evening snacks and dinner. The menu is quite diverse.

If someone wants to take admission in MNNIT college, he/she needs to be 12th passed out and should have appeared in JEE Mains Engineering Entrance Exam. After that the student needs to sit in Josaa and CSAB counselling. Depending upon his/her rank he may get chance to get admission in MNNIT. It depends upon the cutoff rank of that specific year.
