Course Curriculum Overview
The MAHE has a huge faculty support .The whole city manipal is filled with students and teachers and staff of MAHE. I choose ECE as it was known to be good in manipal institute of technology. Faculty are well qualified and can explain in multiple languages. Almost 70 percent of teachers are PhD holders.
Internships Opportunities
There was many intership opportunities laready in 1St year .like Microsoft, google,A dobe. Also there are around 15 major projects like F1,thrust mit.also we can join clubs in first year.we can get into task face and learn new things.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is quite moderate amount compared to other private colleges.For me it is Aroung 5 lakhs including hostel per month however course fee depends on branch. For Branches like E and I, mechanical it's as low as 2.5 + hostel fee. There are many types of hostel with according fees.
Campus Life
MIT manipal has the best infrastructure I have ever seen.A humongous campus of around 300 acres with all facilities including sports, swimming pool, innovation centres,etc.There are numerous clouds and tech organisations.
Hostel Facilities
I stay in hostel, however there are cheaper pgs and rented houses available in manipal. But as a matter of fact hostels are also very good. Even the food facilities is in par with the fee. There is regular cleaning and monitoring of hostels.
Admission
Firstly, you need to know that there is one and only way to enter MIT. That is through MET entrance test which was held previously for 240 marks . The exam was held in 2 sessions with 4 or 5 days in each session. The exam allows you to participate for admission of all MAHE engineering colleges .MIT Manipal is best btech college in MAHE so the cutoff is quite high . You can get much related information in mahe website. There is no such reservation in MET. However students family with income less than 8 lakhs annually is given huge fee consetion. Also there are scholorships for students with met rank from 1 to 5000. Total of around 4 lakh students write MET. But difficulty of exam is little less then jee mains
