Likes
- The placements are very good and the internship opportunities are probably best amongst all nits and most iits.
- The cultural fest, tech fest , annual events, sporting events, etc are plentiful and help you really explore yourself.
- The location of the college is very good and has as a result better than avg connectivity.
Dislikes
- Some of the teachers are not up to the mark.(most are pretty good).
- The hostel are not well kept and discipline is not maintained.
Course Curriculum Overview
Ece showed me promise as there is a general recession going around and it could help with diversifying my career choices. It also offered good placement. Faculty to faculty-to-faculty-to-student ratio is okay. Some teachers are not up to the mark but the general education standard is ok. Term exams were timely and were of moderate difficulty.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure was better than the alternative colleges. Scholarships may not come for all because it depends on the caste, income of the family, etc. I think that there must be more scholarships for all students to incentivize them to perform better.
Campus Life
I have not yet witnessed any tech fest or annual fest. The books are usually(85% of the time) available, And there are a diverse variety of books available. The classrooms are equipped with smart boards(projectors) and A.C. (mostly dysfunctional). I have not currently enrolled in any extracurricular activity though many options are available. Many WhatsApp groups etc.
Admission
The admission process was a bit hectic, as it was not seamless and I had to fill out more forms after I got admission (e.g. for an ID card). I got a 6059 rank and easily got admission to MNNIT ALLAHABAD, E.C.E DEPARTMENT.
