Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because I am highly interested in the research field. The phase of covid pandemic made me stress the importance of this field of biotechnology and I would like to make a major contribution to our society through my knowledge and dedication. Here faculty: the student ratio is around 2:3. All the Faculty members are extremely proficient in their field and have done their Ph.D. and research work. Sems was within one month since we joined and it was according to the teaching of the class.
Internships Opportunities
Companies like Goldman Sachs, Walmart, Google, and so on come to Mnnit Allahabad for internship opportunities. A student from my pre-final year got an internship at Microsoft. The stipend offered may range from 30000-60000.their are various roles that are offered by the companies.
Placement Experience
In the final year, students are eligible for campus placement. Companies like Google, Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, Infosys, and many renowned companies visit here for campus placements, giving ample placements to the students. The highest package offered in my branch biotechnology was 40lpa and the average package is 20lpa.91.82%students get placed. My plan is to continue higher studies after completion of my BTech.
Fees and Financial Aid
For one semester, Hostel fees are 12000, institution fees is 10000, user charges are 9000, caution money is 5000, and mess fess is 25000. I have not availed of any scholarship. I have got a tuition fee waiver from the college since my annual family income is below 1 lakh.
Campus Life
Kalrav is the name of the annual fest held at our college in which various cultural events take place. Avishkar is the name of the tech fest held in our college. An ample amount of books and journals are present in the library. Our classroom is spacious and projectors are available for teaching. There are sports facilities like basketball, volleyball, kho-kho, and so on. The coding club and robotics club are run by our seniors.
Admission
I gave Jee mains and Jee advance in 2023. I have qualified to jee mains with a common rank list ( crl) of 66448 and ews rank 10857. During my counseling, I got to pursue a BTech in biotechnology from Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology. I would like to give a suggestion regarding Josaa counseling. Many students are not able to figure out their interests and are likely to continue a course in which they are not interested.
