Course Curriculum Overview

In the First Year, every branch studies the same subject i.e. Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Mechanics, C programming. while in the Second Year, every branch has its own Subjects. In the 3rd semester, we have Biochemistry, Microbiology, Cell and System Biology, Genetics, Thermodynamics, and Biomaterial. In the 4th semester, we have Biophysics, Bioprocess, Molecular Biology, Applied Computational Methods, and Instrumentation in Biotechnology. Teachers are very helpful as most of us are from a Maths background and have zero knowledge of Biology, so they start from the Basics of Biology.

Placement Experience

MNNIT Allahabad has the highest average package among all NITs in India. Students are eligible for placement from the 7th semester onwards. Top companies like Microsoft, Google, De Shaw, amazon, zomato, etc. visit every year.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are 98000 per semester for students who have a family income of more than 5lac. And for students having a family income between 1 to 5 lac, they have to pay 1/3 of tuition fees and for students whose family income is less than 1 lac they have to pay 0 tuition Fees.

Campus Life

Campus life is very good in MNNIT Allahabad. The annual fest's name is Cultav, it is the biggest cultural fest in college and the biggest technical fest is Avishkar. There are many clubs in MNNIT of every society eg. dramatic, dance.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel name for the first year in MNNIT Allahabad is swami vivekanand ji hostel. It has 7 floors and 3 buildings and the hostel has a lift in it. Each room was given to 3 people and each table, chair, bed, and almirah was given. Mess food is not very tasty.

Hostel Fee: INR 24000 per year

Admission

You have to take the JEE exam. It will happen in 2 sessions every year one in January and the other in April. Application forms are released in November every year. To get into MNNIT Allahabad you have to score a minimum 97 percentile. After clearing the JEE exam you have to sit in jossa counselling to get a confirmed seat in MNNIT.

Placement Experience:

After 6 th semester you are eligible for campus placement. Many companies are comes likes Accenture, Cognizant, Wipro, TCS, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Cagegimini etc and they offer decent package. Highest package 3000000 and average package 400000 and profile offered as for company required. 80 percentage student get placement. Take a placement in good MNC company.

Actually I didn't research on the placement. But in college campus I saw many boards of placed students and the average package is around 4-4.5lakh per annum.and college data says about 90%of students are placed. I am preparing for both off-campus and on campus placement.

Placement Experience:

Our college offer good placement it has average placement of 11 Lpa. Highest package of 52 lpa in Google. There are many company like TCS, L&T, GOOGLE, MICROSOFT, IBM and many more visited our college. If you have CGPA greater than 7 then you are eligible for maximum placement drive. My plan is to get government job.

I choose this course because I want to be a software developer. The faculty are very kind and helpful. Almost every faculty member has completed there post-graduation from various established colleges. The examination scheme is a little bit slow here. Students can pass their semester exams if they are paying at least 45 per cent of their concentration.

MNNIT- A path to Bright Future

One of the important reasons for choosing this college is because of its unique and brilliant placement records. and also it is one of the best NIT in North. Basically I want a college that is not much distant from my state Haryana and should be good also and this alligns perfectly with my scenarios. Talking about the admission process, first you have to clear JEE Mains with a good rank like for CSE your rank be between 1K to 9K . If you want to take admission in this college irrespective of any branch you rank should be under 30K. But this data is not fixed , it changes every year depending on the difficulty level of JEE Mains. and then apply for the JOSSA councelling and there you can keep this college in your choice an dif your rank is good enough, you will get it.
