Excellent management education

It was mesmerizing days that I had with my college. Always cherish the days and feels proud to be an alumni of TOCE. The faculties and the management was so co-operative and affirms the students get the best of their studies with the college.

I took KMAT. There was a panel of judgement that we need to undergo starting from group discussion to a personal interview.

Stipend were not offered. We were supposed to opt and select the companies which we like to do our internship. I did my internship in HCL on financial management. Did a financial analysis of the company by implementing ratio analysis as the performance assessment. Faculties were very supportive in providing support on final project submission. A VIVA was conducted to assess each student's understanding about the project and the implication of each of the aspects used to present the report. Other than the projects there were special training s given to us to improve our soft skills. A special management trainers were introduced to underwent the training session to us. Certificate were issued as honor of attendance.

There was a dedicated placement cell running for the management department. During our academic year top companies like Infosys,ITC,Dell,Bosch,Geojit PNP Baribas,ICICI has come to the campus for placements.

Manojavam was the name of management fest that was conducted every year. There were other fests specific to each department of the college been organized. Candidates from different management colleges were participated for the fest. Each and every students of the management were given different responsibilities to manage the fest and crowd.

Comparatively the fees structure was matched with other big management schools in Bangalore. During our studies it was around a sum of 4 lac exactly 75000 per annum. It was the standard fees structure that was followed. There were no other hidden fees been charged for any other activities. Everything was covered under the initial fees structure that was been shared. The fees structure were transparent and the split of all the particulars were shared clearly. It was mandatory to own a laptop by all manager students and the cost of the same was redeemed from students. It was Rs.45000 during our time. Supports self financing as well as educational loan. All facilities and documents were shared to opt for educational loans from banks. The college were also good in identifying good talent and offering scholarships for worthy students. A hostel fees of Rs. 24000 were charged for 1 year including food. Exam fees were charged separately and for any back papers an extra amount is charged for revaluation. All these were charged by the university and not the college.

Loan facility was offered for Kannadikas but not other natives. Not aware about much details.

Markable opportunities were available and students were enabled to explore there skills at the best.

First year a room was shared by four members and second year we gets a room for two members. The food provided was good. Every Sunday non-veg food was served.

We had only computer labs and were available once in a week. Exams were conducted very promptly and organized.
