Course Curriculum Overview
Paint technology has 100% placement rate from last 4 years. That's why it made me go fot it. Ratio of faculty to professor if 50:1 The faculty you get is highly qualified. There are 6 written exam to be held in one year. Precisely 1st mid sem 2nd mid sem 1st end sem 3rd mid sem 4th mid sem 2nd end sem. Mid sem are comparatively easy but end sem is moderate to hard
Internships Opportunities
Companies visit every year in hbtu including amazon also the stilend they give is very high as compared to other state government college of up.. It is very old since 100 years completed. It is very reputatee college of north and provide various rare branches including food paint leather technology.
Placement Experience
From 6 th to 7th semester onwards a candidate become eligible to placement as it all depends on his or her skills. There are various good companies that visit hbtu each year including Amazon, hero, maruti, asian, indigo, havels, byjus etc. The rate of percent placement various from branch to branch,as my paint technology has 100 percent placement of last 4 years. Cs has 95 ..IT has 90 etc My plan after getting degree is to be in good job.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees as comparison to government college is a bit high but it has its pros and cons. Up scholarship can also be available by student. Other scholarship that is being told to us are Alstem, hdfc,kotak kanya etc
Campus Life
There are many function that you will not expect at beginning of your college.. Including festival celebration of janmasthmi diwali holi etc. There are popular events like adhyaay, There are many clubs including poetry, drama, octave for singing, aeroclub, autorob etc.. Sports also have also been root of hbtu like cricket kho kho,table tennis, badminton, football. Etc
Hostel Facilities
Hostel is been not very well maintained. Hbtu have 6 hostel for boys and 4 for girls.. Girls hostel is in east campus where as 2 boys hostel are in east campus and 4 in west campus. The quality of food given in my hostel(aryabhatta) is moderate as come to taste. My hostel all room are triple seeter but other hostel have double and tripple seater rooms
Admission
I am a dropper and scored 1 lakh 16 thousand rank in jee mains and got btech paint technology in hbtu in spot round. It is one of the highly reputated branch in hbtu. Cost of 1 year btech program of every branch is ?1,35,000 . Btech program is of 4 year. Application form fees was 1000 The cutoff various for general obc sc st candidates to get admission here . Facilities lack here. But over all if you are coming to just get a good job go for it.
