Course Curriculum Overview
I chose mechanical engineering on my own interest and the best course in 75000 jee main rank. Faculty of HBTU is very good but you have to attend the class regularly. Exam will be thoroughly based upon the contents taught in the classroom. Most of the facilities are PHd holders from IIT or NIT. And most of them are the alumni of HBTU itself. The level of exam conducted is moderate to high level. All the exams are done on time.
Internships Opportunities
Currently, I am a first-year student. About internships and placement, I know very little. But in our mechanical engineering branch, many companies offer placements to the students who are eligible with an average package above 8 lakh
Placement Experience
From 7 semesters students are eligible for campus placements. The highest placement in mechanical engineering is up to 14 lakhs and the average package is 8 lakhs per annum. 70-80 % of students get placed. And remaining go for further studies.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees are quite high but the quality of content given here is amazing. Practicals are done every week. Workshop practice is compulsory for all the branches in first year. You can get the scholarship under the UP government.
Campus Life
All the classes in the lecture halls are air-conditioned and seats are in a step-wise manner. Tagore library is in the college where lots of e-books, journals and engineering-related books are available. But no novels are present there which I think is a cons of this library. Computers with internet connectivity are provided here. The whole library is air-conditioned. There are lots of councils, sub councils, NSS and various clubs present in the college where you can work on your grooming and personal growth. Aeroclub and Autorob come under the technical sub-council.
Hostel Facilities
Water coolers with RO water is provided in the hostel. Electricity is present 24*7. Four times meal are provided in the mess. There are 2 boys and 6 girls hostel in East campus and 6 boys hostel in west campus. First year students are alloted hostel in the east campus. All the academics are done in the east campus. After admission in college a hostel form link is uploaded on official website where you can deposit hostel and mess fees. Most of the students get the hostel.
Admission
The eligibility to take admission is HBTU is that you have to qualify jee main with a decent percentile approx 94 to get a seat in mechanical engineering. You can apply to this college after your main exam through HBTU counselling official website. Counselling is not done through JOSSA. Majorly SC ST students can get the IT and CS branches up to 95000 rank.
