Course Curriculum Overview
I have chosen the 4-year btech program in electrical engineering at this college by seeing its good placement and internship opportunities. the course curriculum was updated by the new education policy of India and the faculty members are a little bit strict toward course curriculum and the teacher-student ratio is 1:10. the faculty members are done mtech and PhDs from IITs and top institutions in India. the exam was not very difficult but you had to study the material which was provided by the faculty otherwise random answer was not accepted in the exam.
Internships Opportunities
Companies such as laxes, Google, Amazon, NTPC, pgcl, Tata Motors, Tata Power, Mahindra, Flipkart, and Maruti Suzuki, come for internship and campus places of core and noncore branch students. the companies offer many high-post roles to the students and in the first year many projects and events such as code Sangam will be conducted.
Placement Experience
After completion of 6 th semester, you are eligible for an internship and at the starting of the 8th semester, companies visit for campus placement. the placement percentage in my branch is 100 percent till now and if are not getting any placement from this college you should go for higher studies such as MTech or MBA and if have an interest you should go for civil services also.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee hike was not very large as it is a govt institute but still the cost to study a general candidate is around 10 lakh including the hostel and mess fee. the campus has very good job opportunities and very big companies like Google Amazon laxes goldmansac ntpc pgcl, Microsoft and many more come for college placement with a very good package.
Campus Life
Culrav and aviskar was the very big cultural and technical fest of this college and there are lots of clubs and societies for exploring. this college has a very big Library where you get all the books of thousands of writers and the class of this college is decent as it is in the top 5 old nits of India and there is a website called paper factory design by the student of mnnit where you grlet all the previous exam paper and notes and many more.
Admission
To gain admission to Mnnit Allahabad you should take the entrance exam of jee which was conducted by NTA the application form is available at NTA's official website itself and the application fee is 1000 rupees and you have the categories like sc, St, and Ews then no college fee will be taken from you only hostel and mess charge will be given and there is also rank benefits in these categories.
