To be eligible for this course, you need to have a rank of less than 90k for a general male student in the jee main exam. After taking the jee main exam, you can apply for various courses in this university through mpdte counseling which is the counseling for Madhya Pradesh state government colleges as well as private colleges. The application fee for registering in the mpdte counseling is around 1500 rupees. If you are a female or have any other reservation, you can get admission into a branch instead of someone with a better rank and also you could avail of a scholarship in which you have to pay a fee of only 500 rupees for the whole year, this will be when you have a good percentage ( above 85) in board exams, have jee rank less than 1 lakh and family income less than 3 lakhs.

I chose this course because I was interested in computer science and its applications. Unfortunately, there is only one faculty per 80 students in my branch, although the faculties are well qualified, The faculties are supportive. Term exams were on time and were moderately difficult.

Internship opportunities provided at the campus are below average. Though the alumni network of the college provides internships to juniors, not a lot of them get internship opportunities. But you can get them if you work hard, they'll not be served to you.

The placement opportunities are average, a good percent of students from the high-demand branches get placed at an average package of 4 lakhs per annum, while branches like Petrochemical, and Civil struggle a lot with placements. The highest campus placement this year was for a computer science student by a startup of alumni of our college for 11 lakhs per annum, someone got a 48 lpa package but it was off campus. Generally, companies like TCS, and Wipro are the major recruiters.

This university is very affordable, the yearly tuition fee for BTech courses is somewhere around 25000 rupees and the bus fee is around 9000 which can be avoided if you're not using the bus. There is no fee hike, cost of study is very affordable here. There is a scholarship named Medhavi in which you have to pay a fee of only 500 rupees if you have a good percentage score in boards( above 85), have a jee rank of less than 1 lakh, and family income less than 3 lakhs per annum.

The library has a good infrastructure and good availability of books along with a study-friendly environment. There are no sports activities other than a sports fest during the whole year, the sports complex remains closed the whole time. There are some clubs though like Infinity Racers of the Automobile and mechanical department, training, and placement cell.
