Course Curriculum Overview
The reason I have chosen Electrical Engg is that I was a bit good in Physics and our college provides a decent package, faculty to student ratio is good enough (i.e) 1:10, many of our faculties have a great profile, many of them are Mtech and Ph.D. Qualified from IITs and Foreign Institutes, Talking about core branches they focus on the basics and ensure that every student gets the summary of the topic, mid terms are conducted after every 2 months of gap and so at the end sems, it isn't difficult to pass, just depends that if u study daily or not.
Internships Opportunities
Google, Microsoft, and Adobe gives good stipend that are approximately 20 thousand per month, if you are talking about the projects, you must have complete knowledge of the project which you have done, if you are interested in coding then our college will guide a lot better in terms of that.
Placement Experience
From the sixth semester we can become eligible for campus placements and companies start coming from the 7th semester, Google, Microsoft, Infosys, L&T, Tata Steel, etc..826 offers have been made recently highest package is 83 lac and the minimum is 5 lac, our branch have 96% placements. After getting my degree I would like to be placed in a decent company to support my family.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee hike policy is not that much here in MNNIT since it's a govt Institute, the cost here goes 9 to 10 lac for 4 years (including all the miscellaneous). If you are from Uttar Pradesh then you can seek a Uttar Pradesh Scholarship and you can get a loan easily such that you get ease for paying the fees.
Campus Life
Here in MNNIT, we have an Annual fest called Culrav, avishkar as tech fest which are the two main fests in our college, for the sake of books and journals we have a decent central Library which is well equipped and the college is well equipped in terms of gym, sports and all. Here we have various clubs which give quite a good amount of opportunity to show our talent.
Admission
To get into the course of BTech Electrical Engineering at MNNIT Allahabad, we have to score a well percentile in JEE Main, it's application form, application fees and it's dates can be found on the website of jeemain.nta.nic.in.But of course, if you have any kind of reservation (OBC (NCL)/SC/ST/ PwD), then you may get a particular branch in the college with a low percentile too. JEE Main conducts 2 sessions in each year, I would really appreciate it if NTA (the Conducting body) could increase the number of sessions in each year.
