Remarks

Overall the college is very good with respect to studying environment with beautiful campus.

Entrance Preview

I gave Neet 2017 and scored 473. This is the best private medical college in Marathwada so I opted for it as my first choice. The admission process is directed by DMER.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course which I am taking MBBS in my college is directed and structured by Maharashtra University of health and sciences. It is a good and vast curriculum with a focus on clinical studies. The studies include a lot of importance to practical knowledge. It is a 4 and a half year course with a year internship.

Internships Opportunities

Yes my college does provide internship to mbbs as well as md ms students.Although the stipend is very low and nominal as the patients are low due to a government hospital in the same city.

Placement Experience

3.5

It is a medical college. The job placement and companies do not come to the college and have to be approached individually after graduation.T he degree value is equivalent to all other government institutes as the university is same. Although the experience can be a factor taking my college behind as the patient flow and variety is low due to a government hospital and medical college in town.

College Events

2

Medical colleges do not have too much of festivals and events in the college.Although all the national events are celebrated with great enthusiasm. But they are on a small scale.Cultural fests are conducted once a year.It is an week event with all the programs as dance singing drama and talent programs.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Compared to other private colleges it is one of the most least expensive medical college.Fees for my batch was 5,90,000rs per year.Though this is constant for my batch. There is overall about a lakh increase in the fees for coming intake of students.Still it is feasible compared to other private colleges.Hostel and mess fees is 30k and 24k respectively and worth the price.

Fees and Financial Aid

All government scholarships are offered by the college like EBC and rajeshahi shahu scholarships.I personally did'nt avail any scholarship.Education loan can be availed through banks.

Campus Life

4.5

Campus is beautiful with lots of trees, lawns and greenary.Gender ratio is almost equal and variable yearly. Sports ground is present with football, cricket, throwball, volleyball and other out door facilities. Table tennis is present in hostels. No student parties are held. Cultural Diversity is least, all the students are from marathwada area mostly.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Hostel of the college is good. The seats per year are very few as compared. Both Girls and boys hostel are in the campus are very convienent. The rent is 30 thousand per year. The mess fees is 24 thousand. The hostel rooms are to be shared between three students. The mess food is okay not too good not too bad either.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni meets are held rarely but all the alumni network is connected. Senior students are very helpful and interactive.Though the alumni meetings are not frequent.

Exam Structure

There are two types of exams conducted internal-in college itself,by the college and external exams are conducted by the university in external centre. The frequency of exams is quite low but the overall studies are itself hectic in MBBS course. The practicals and clinical posting are hectic job and can be stressful.

Admission

The Directorate of Medical Education & Research directs the admission process through online registration and online cap rounds after result of Neet. The notification to fill form is released on dmer.org after neet results. The administration of college is very well regulated.

Faculty

4

Faculty of my college is very well qualified. Many also from top institutes of maharashtra. They are always eager and enthusiastic to teach the students though some teachers might be on a negative side due to high work load. But overall all the doctors and professors are very helping towards students.
