Likes
- The infrastructure, big classrooms, comfy benches and airconditioned classes equipped with smart boards is really a cherry on top. There is every possible comfort and great assisting teachers with high qualifications mostly phds.
Dislikes
- The strict discipline too much burden for attendance.
- Too much pressure for practical files, spiral etc.
- Unsupporting faculty makes you cry at times.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose the following course because I am fond of Computers and the world of AI. There is a great number of faculty with high qualifications available to look after students. Each sem is 6 months containing 3 mid-unit tests comprised of practicals and final end sem examinations.
Placement Experience
From 7th sem students become eligible for campus placements. Big companies like Microsoft, Infosys, and Accenture visit the campus. The average package is generally around 8 to 9 lacs and the highest package till now is 53 lacs. There is a 100 percent placement policy.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees were quite too high when I was admission to college, in fact, the current fee for Computer Science students has increased from 2 lac to 3.21 lacs but the fee is justified as the infrastructure is good and the classes are comfortable.
Campus Life
Events and functions are organized every week. There is a vast library of books. Classrooms are fully air-conditioned with smart projectors and comfortable benches. There are several clubs or societies in college like Iste, CSI, Codechef, etc.
Admission
Gave the entrance exam SRMJEE and cleared it. The candidates who score good percentile are awarded scholarships in their fee. The admission process is also possible directly and you can take the examination at your convenience.
