What Students Say

Likes

Canteen and mother dairy. The quality of food is good.
I also liked the auditorium which is small but fully air conditioned.
Labs are well maintained and have separate apparatus for each child.

Dislikes

I didn't liked the classrooms. Like in winters it is okay but during Summers it is very hot
There is no playground which is quite bad thing.

Course Curriculum Overview

Faculty members are good and are very supportive. The course is followed as per IPU instructions which is good. Although 1st semester is very short they complete the whole semester in just 3 months which is quite hectic for students.

Internships Opportunities

Many companies like Amazon, and Wipro come for internships. And I heard various seniors are earning quite well while being in college. Once the seniors came into class for an internship opportunity for 1st year. They said the stipend would be equal to the amount that you can buy a 13 pro max Apple in 2 months

Placement Experience

Placements are also good. Like now I am in 1st year so don't know much about it. But I heard from the seniors that the on-campus placement was around 28 lpa which is good. The off-campus placement was 45 lpa. You can also check the college's website for more.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is quite affordable. 1.1 lakh per year. Your btech can be completed in just 5-6 lakhs including transportation cost. They also provide scholarships on the basis of merit. Education loan is also available if needed.

Campus Life

Life is good. The seniors are very supportive and keep guiding me during the exams. The college has around 13 societies. The only thing I don't like is the playground. There is no playground on the campus.

Admission

The admission process was not so difficult. You just have to give jee mains and if you belong to the Sikh minority quota it is very easy for you. Just give the jee mains and fill the form on the ipu official site. Make your own preference list and you will be allotted this college on the basis of your rank During reporting you are to deposit the complete academic fee for 1st year.

From 6th-7th semester students become eligible for campus placement The placement process starts in July August of the 4th year and continues until March pril Students can apply for internships from the 3rd year, and many companies offer PPO (Pre-Placement Offers) based on internships Some of the top recruiters include Google Microsoft Amazon Adobe Atlassian Apple Deloitte Goldman Sachs Samsung Salesforce Bain & Company Flipkart Myntra (I copy pasted this from college official pdf and from website) Highest is 85+ lpa i guess according to dtu website and some seniors also told me that Overall average package is 15-18 LPA for btech Common roles offered include Software Development Engineer (SDE) Data Scientist -Data Analyst Product Engineer Business Analyst My plans after getting degree is --getting a core placement in oil refinery or oil rig

Placement Experience:

The placements of MAIT are decent as compared to market conditions. But the data shown on website or availble at various platforms is not the reality. The mass chunk of students who get a job are placed under and around 6LPA package.

The eligible students get placements, from 4tg year first semester onwards placements will start, companies like Accenture, tcs, infotech, wipro will attend. I think atleast 7GPA is min required for college placements

Life of a college student

Course Curriculum Overview:

When it comes to curriculum everything us fine accept 1st year curriculum.My branch is ece in 1st year i have to study chemistry and physics which is no use for anybody in future it is just waste of time pretty outdated.For 2,3 and 4th year curriculum is far better than what it is in 1st year. Odd semester starts form August and after 2 month we have to give midsem exam.1 month after midsem we have to give endsem.There is very short time period between midsem and endsem examinations.Even semester starts form January everything is same as that of odd semester.

Delhi Technological University: A place for overall development

Placement Experience:

College placements are amazing. Right now the recession is there otherwise the average package of Computer Software and IT branch is as high as 21LPA and overall average package of the college goes as high as 14LPA

placement in igdtu is as good as dtu and nsut , many companies visit our campus every year like google, amazon, microsoft, adobe, vipro, uber, ola, atlassian etc. the highest package in 2023 was of 51 LPA by microsoft and average package is around 20 LPA

DTU PROS AND CONS

Placement Experience:

Placements are good in DTU. Usually a student is eligible to sit in placements from 4th year. Last year 325+ companies visited the campus like google, abode, Amazon, Microsoft, zomato, samsung, maruti suzuki,etc. They all have made 2050+ offers. The highest domestic package was offered by Atlanssian of 82.05LPA. The overall average package was 16.71LPA. The average package of my branch (Production and Industrial Engineering) was 12.34LPA. And in tech branches like CSE, IT it was around 24-25 LPA. Almost everyone is allowed to sit for placements. In PIE branch around 60-65% of student got placed in on campus.

I applied to all the colleges that come under GGSIPU and in the 1st round I got HMR and in the 2nd round of IPU counselling I got this college and then I booked this seat and got my seat allotment letter after paying 60000 for the required seat allotment fees! I chose this college over HMR because HMR is very far away from my home and this college is still nearer as compared to HMR As I said I applied to all the GGSIPU colleges but I got HMR is first round which is very far away from my college so I didnt chose it. So i didnt get rejection from any other college! The admisision process is very simple. You get the college on the basis of your JEE MAINS rank. The cutoff for this college is you'll get CSE branch if your rank is below 3L and CSE specialised branch if rank is below 5L for IT below 6-7L....Read More

Eligibility of this course and admission in college is 60% in pcm in 12 boards exam and jee mains entrance exams with good percentile. We can apply and find application form from GGSIPU site and we can fill the registration form and application form from there own site .Dates are mentioned on the GGSIPU website so you can check there. Frequency and timings of exam is medium on their difficultly level.
