Course Curriculum Overview

All were good, the faculty members were excellent, and daily classes and exams were based on University rules. Student ratio max 35 not more than that according to university. The teachers were good and strict but were good.

Class Size: 30Course Fees: INR 8000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

As I am from another state and got a good rank of 150 all over the state in Biotechnology got a free seat at Kakatiya University my fee was 8000 only because I got a free seat. but about placement, we did not get any placements or internship assistance.

Campus Life

Campus was good overall the greenery environment the food fest, the curriculum activities like games, essays competition on National Science Day and so many others. Our department was filled with greenery and beautiful plants. And classrooms were clean and all good.

Admission

I have attend CPGET entrance exam based on that I got admitted to the University. It application will be in the official site cpget. Reservation benefit i got as i am from other state and hlgot seat in a University that too 8000 fees only. The admission process was good just phases should taken ASAP which they lags.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The geology has very significant importance to human in more ways but the Geology related jobs are very less in state government and central government. Few geology related companies are give opportunities to students wit. Internships and also provide jobs with tough exam and interview. The companies are Geological Survey of India and NGRI etc.. we expect that jobs in state government jobs but very less in state government in geology related jobs.

When it comes to internals its of 20 marks we have as such three of them for one sem and avg of 10 is taken from it internals are of 1hr and externals will be about 2hrs 30mins and labs of 3hrs

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum of the biotechnology course includes all the relevant topics needed to gain information about the subject. The curriculum also includes currently developing topics of interest which may gain popularity in the future (like bioinformatics). It thoroughly prepares us for real world applications as we gain exposure to various fields of interest in the subject and get a hands-on training in the subject. Ab area i would like to suggest for improvement is to alot equal no. Of periods to different papers in the subject as each topic has its own value in the academic and career purpose. The internals are conducted every month within a duration of 1 hour for each paper. there are currently 4 internals for our batch, each of 10 marks. The externals or the end semester exams are conducted at the end of the semester approx 6 months, which are of 50 marks. 10 marks is alloted for attendance, bringing the total to 1000.

The 2nd semester students are eligible for the placements and Infosys and many other companies hired our college for the jobs and offers were also good as 3lakhs to 4 lakhs per annually Nearly 70%of the students got placement I am very happy by getting seat in this university as I also will get and job in any of the placement cell

I only applied for 2 colleges this and KITSW. I couldnot get into the other college due to my EAPCET marks. I would I say I did not study for the exam a little bit more hardwork would've gotten me into that college. The admission process for my college is simple. You fill an online form before actually going to register yourself in the college. Everyone within the state is eligible to enter this college but you can apply only through EAPCET. The cutoff for this college is above the rank of 1 lakh. The admission process is very easy you just have to bring the forms they ask you to and xerox copies of those.
