Course Curriculum Overview

B.Tech in CSE is the best option if you wanna go within the corporate world. Placements in CSE are always high as compared to other branches. Talking about the faulty: student ratio in my college it's 100:1000. All the faculty members are well qualified and we have 2 mid-term exams before our semester exam. they are not at all difficult to pass but u need to perform well in the semester exams.

Internships Opportunities

Cognizant and persistent provided internship where your will learn different technoglogies but there is no stipent and after successfull completion of there internship you will get PP0 based on your interview.

Placement Experience

Placements are really good in Oriental. You will get many opportunities and many companies visit our college and the average package is 600000 you will easily crack this much. There are many companies visited such as HSBC, WilleyEdge, TCS, Capgemini, Cognizant, Nagarro etc... The highest package from my college was 46 LPA form Amazon. 90% of students get placed from my college.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees of Oriental are not that high as compared to other colleges because you will get a higher package than you fees you spent in 4 years and scholarships are given to ST, SC and OBC which is very good. I am placed at Nagarro with a 6 LPA package and I get many other opportunities as well with good packages but I chose Nagarro over them because it was work from home.

Campus Life

Many events occur in a year such as Tech Fest, Sports Competition and NCC events. Also as there are 2 colleges OIST and OCT on campus they celebrate their tech fest so you get 2 chances to participate in these events. Also, there are many clubs such as NCC, Music, Dance and many more.

Admission

Yes, I took JEE Mains and my rank was in lakhs then I applied for college counselling by which I got a CSE Branch in Oriental. At my time cutoff was not that high but I think now you need a good rank to get CSE in oriental.

One becomes eligible for college placements if he/she in their third or fourth year. The number of companies visits are great like Microsoft, JP Morgan Chase &Co. , Atlassian etc. These are the good companies which offers great placements. Course Curriculum Overview:

Jiwaji is Government university which have a long heritage. But is now coming to the short end of the rope. Institute of Engineering Jiwaji is fairly newly established around 20 to 30 years or so. The faculty is not that great and is not that experienced and have less facilities. Faculty of IEJU is mostly on temporary payroll with some of the permanent faculty. You have entire leasure of time to yourself. So, thing other than couese can be pursued. Hostel facilities are good. If we come to exams Other than Pharmacy and Engineering all other course have tomoy scheduled exams with strict checking and scoring.

Remarks:

My college comes under Institute of National importance,it has amazing placement,the students in this college are very intelligent as everyone joins after qualifying one of the toughest exam JEE advance, college has beautiful campus and has well equipped labs and also hasquite low fee compared to other colleges.

Choosing a college is a major decision, and for many students OIST Bhopal, the choice often comes down to abalance between legacy, regional repution, and practical constraints. Students typically compare OIST with other top private colleges in Madhya Pradesh such as LNCT or VIT Bhopal. My rank falls in the 1.5 Lakh to 5 Lakh range, OIST becomes a primary choice. It offers the same RGPV degree as the government colleges but with a more structured trainig program for private placements. The admission process is centralized and follows the guidelines of the Directorate of Technicial Education(DTE), Madhya Pradesh. Qualifying exams: 10+2 with Physics,Chemistry and Mathematics(PCM). OIST Bhopal is an outstanding institute!
