Faculties,games room cafeteria and the library.
Faculties games room and cafeteria are the best places to visit after the classes.
No ragging in this college has ever happened.

Dislikes

The attendance requirement is not compulsory some students don’t even come to attend classes for month.
The strength of the class is very weak.

I chose this course because I wanted to do a CA and this course will help me with CA. In our section, there are 82 candidates and there are a total of 18 sections in BCom. The faculties of this college are of the best in Kolkata, they are friendly as well as helpful towards your studies. All the teachers are Ph.D. holders.

Class Size: 82Course Fees: INR 147000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee for 3 years in BCom Hons is 147000 you have to pay this in six semesters divided almost equally. The campus placements are not great because you cannot expect to get a job with this degree but this will help you if join CA.

Campus Life

BESC organizes one of the best fest in Kolkata (Umang). The library is one the best I have ever seen you can get any book you like. The games room is a great place to spend your good time with friends. The cafeteria is great too with veg food.

Admission

We have to submit the correct details and results of class 12 boards during the admission portal for admission. The college is great for studies, the teachers are very supportive and friendly they will always help you with your queries. The admission process is easy.

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did chose this course to learn more about accounting and finance and the cirriculum prepares you perfectly for the real world. The exams were conducted very soon in few semester only giving 3 months for the students to prepare . the professors were good at teaching and somehow used to complete the syllabus

SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.

The besc life

I applied to scottish church, jaipuria college and goenka college of commerce Got confirmed from the first two but bhawanipur had the best discipline , teacherd and a smooth easy process and the best campus.it has a ragging free enviroment which is best for me . I got rejected by goenka college of commerce as i could not get their cut off marks . I applied only for besc and I entered I didn't use quota admission Minimum masks for entry be 65% in best of 4 for evening batch whereas 85% for morning batch (can be changed on the points of performance and talents) there is no age limit for entry The admission process was easy i.e fill out admission form online check name on the admission list released pay the admission fee + yearly fees submission of form in college health check up in college collect your Identification card and you are enrolled in bhawanipur education society college...Read More
