Course Curriculum Overview
Actually, I am enrolled in BTech artificial intelligence, because this is a demanding course nowadays. In Hamdard, our teachers are good, knowledgeable, and skilled. Some of the faculty are from Jamia Millia. Some of them are graduates of IITs. They teach us well and all the syllabus are covered timely. Examinations are also conducted at their respective time. Medium-level questions are asked in the examination. Many questions are repeatedly asked, they are from previous years. So, it is somewhere easy to pass the exam.
Internships Opportunities
Deserving or average students got some good internships. Some specific examples of students who secured internships in recent years- Software engineers at Google, machine learning engineers at Microsoft, artificial intelligence engineers at Amazon, data science interns at IBM, Research interns at Accenture labs, software developers at TCS, etc. There are many projects done by the students like projects on traffic light solutions, Tech hacks, etc.
Placement Experience
After 3rd year or 7th semester, most of the students are eligible for their placement. The placement statistics for b.tech students at Jamia Hamdard for the year 2023 are Highest package- 20 LPA, Average package- 7-8 LPA, Lowest package- 3-4 lPA. Many companies visited the campus to hire BTech students like Microsoft, amazon, IBM, Accenture, TCS, Infosys, Wipro, HCL, L&T Infotech, etc. Around 70% of students got their placement from campus. They were hired on different positions like software engineer, machine learning engineer, Artificial intelligence engineer, Data science engineer, developer, manager, etc.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee of B.Tech is somewhat high as compared to other colleges. Fee for B.tech A.I., Computer science, and electrical engineering are 230k, 190k, and 175k respectively. There is no scholarship given by the university. The placement statistics for b.tech students for the year 2023 are as follows: Highest package- 20 lpa, Average package- 6-7 lpa, Lowest package- 3-4 lpa. Different companies like Microsoft, Amazon, IBM, Accenture, Infosys, Wipro, HCL, L&T Infotech, etc, come here for placement.
Campus Life
Many fests are conducted here, they are very enjoyable. Many events are also conducted from time to time. They are very informative and conducted by many educational clubs and societies. The campus is beautiful and well-maintained with a variety of amenities and activities available. Many clubs, social groups, and societies are run by students like Google Developer Student Club, Tezos Club, hackclub, IEEE, Epoch Society, UBA JH, etc.
Admission
In the B.Tech program, Jamia Hamdard was admitted on the basis of JEE mains percentile and also from 12th marks as well. You should have either a minimum of 60 percentile in JEE mains or 60 percent in your board exam to get selected for BTech course. You can find the application form on the official website of Jamia Hamdard and all the processes related to admission will be done online on the official website after you have made your login user ID or signed up to make your account. It is an additional benefit like a reservation for Muslim minority students.
