Bits , Bytes and beyond : An Inside Perspective on IIIT Allahabad's academic Symphony

I choose Electronics and Communication Engineering because I have Some sort of interest in this domain and I have two options to choose between coreside or coding side/ Faculty to student ratio is quite Low as compared to IIT's. Qualification of Faculty is Pretty good.Everyone is senior members atleast completed proffessional degree in IIT.Many researchers and scholars work under them. Yeah coming to Exams here they are quite hectic as compared to other institutes.Peer pressure will be more.The schedule is hectic.

I have lesser knowledge on IT side internships. when comming to the ECE side there are very lesser opportunities as compared to others very rare people can select. There is some scrutinity in intership in ECE department

4th year onwards placements will start Before that one can try for interships in 3rd year Most of the IT based companies visit here due to high demand of competitive coders Average package is very high as compared to many of Nits and iits Just maintain your academics well that will be enough for placements I made no plans because I am a seconf year student going with the flow

One can easily get Scholarship acoording to their caste , income , military backgrounds. Many of my friends got scholarships which are handfull of amount credited to their accounts.] The only problem with the scholarships is if you got ay backlog then they will get cancelled. You cannot eligible for them. Actually I got no scholarship due to high income of my family.

Modern class rooms , well equipped laboratories adn well stocked library create a conductive learning environment.

Mess food is quite good as well as bad. I can give 5/10 to food provided here. South Indian food is also available here but not upto mark. Registration process for hostel is very easy The only thing is to pay mess fees seperately There is no such like Rented rooms beyong the campus one must have to reside in college hostels only

Eligibility to the cource which I have enrolled is through JEE MAINS One must have to qualify the exam according to their categeory basis NTA-National Testing Agency will conduct the exam every year. One must get minimum percentile to get the admission. In my year the minimum percentile was quite high due to high reputation of the college The main benefit of admission for any student is there is no home state advantage Reservation biased percentile changes every year .
