Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course as DSE in a market thriving course. There has been a recent demand for data scientists across the globe. The faculties in our college are well experienced highly educated professors. We have a really good faculty-student ratio 1:40 is the current ratio. Exams are conducted every week ( Quizzes) and the exams are quite difficult.

Class Size: 92Course Fees: INR 530000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Google and other tech giants offer internship opportunities to the students. many include paid and unpaid as well. Our college has been really known for its student projects. Some of them include Thrust MIT and Formula Manipal.

Placement Experience

From the 6th semester, students are eligible for campus placements. All the ultra-high-end companies visit our campus. The highest package was 45 LPA and the average is around 14 LPA Around 80% of the students do get placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees are reasonable considering it is a private college. The college does provide scholarships who excel exceptionally academically. My course fee for the entire 4 years is around 18.63 lacs. Our college also provides 100% scholarships who secure a rank below 100 ranks in the MET entrance exam.

Campus Life

There are 2 major college festivals. TechTown: The technical fest. Revel: Cultural fest Our college is one of the most beautiful campuses in the country. Surrounded by lush forests and mountains, the college itself is a small city. We have all the sports amenities. There are a lot of technical and nontechnical clubs in our college. I advise you to join at least one technical club in the first year.

Hostel Facilities

Hotels are maintained and the maintenance is completely outsourced to Zola services. the meal is very good for both south and north. Indians. The registration is completely online. Fee: 1230000 ( double seater attached washroom) incl mess.

Hostel Fee: INR 123000 per year

Admission

I got admitted to this institution by DASA. My eligibility was 65% in my 12th boards and a valid JEE score. I applied through the DASA direct portal. I got Allotted in the first round itself. The admission procedure was fully online which made it very easy for the students.

Placement Experience:

Placement stats are pretty good, offers above 50LPA have also been granted to students, but they are not as common. With a good cgpa, 5+ LPA can be ensured. Students from 6th sem become eligible for placements, companies such as TI, Apple, Daimler Trucks etc have come for placements

MIT Manipal owns engineering!

Admission here are very consistent and just two methods. No other method works here as MIT Manipal has very clear plans. Either you can qualify through Manipal Entrance Test or JEE scores but 90 percentile is required. So it is tough as engineering seats in MIT Manipal maybe high but competition to be in top 1000-1200 means competing with nearly 100k students....Read More

MIT Manipal is awesome!

For B.Tech courses, Manipal Entrance Test is conducted by the college and students on the score and ranking are alloted branch. CSE and AI are taken by top rankers and then mid rankers can take our branch. However, first choice is always with the students. MIT Manipal is super tech savvy!

In MAHE or MIT Manipal the university only accepts their own entrance scored as JEE qualifications and all have very limited seats.
