course curriculum is to the point and well designed, faculty members possess a deep understanding of their subjects and most of them have published multiple research papers on their subjects. faculty-student ratio is around 1 to 15. All faculty members hold a Ph.D. in their fields, teaching methods include regular quizzes and most teachers pay attention to teaching concepts. There are 2 exams per semester mis mid-seems and end-semester exams which were moderately easy to pass.

The fee structure is quite expensive for a middle-class person, a 20 percent scholarship is available at a MET rank of <5k .100 percent scholarship at a MET rank of <100. financial assistance is also provided if income is below a certain limit. There is no fee hike over 4 years. Job opportunities are available in the form of internships in 3rd and 4th years.

campus life is very lively and vibrant various social events are conducted at a good frequency annual fest is revels and the annual tech fest is tech tattva library is one the biggest in Asia with various books and journals from very respected authors. classrooms are well furnished and well equipped. There are enough sports activities and extracurricular activities present in the form of clubs and student projects Some social groups include Project Manas, kryptonite, mist, debate Club Manipal, etc.

The admission process was relatively smooth compared to the admission processes of other colleges, I took the MET entrance exam which is the official entrance test for getting into Manipal Institute of Technology. The application for MET can be found at the official site of MIT Manipal. cutoff for my branch (data science) was at around 5k rank. To be eligible for writing MET one should obtain a minimum of 50 percent in physics and maths and one subject of choice. No reservation is there.
