Likes

It is quite peaceful and calming as it is away from main areas
All classes are close to each other so no need to walk or run from one class to other
If mess food is not good, there are two canteens available to eat from

Dislikes

Being a new campus, there is no placement yet available
There is no proper transportation available to go to city
Some teachers are good but some of them can get moody

I chose this course because of the high demand in the field. The faculty: students ratio is 70 to 74 students for 1 teacher for CSE whereas this ratio for other departments is a little better. All teachers on the campus are either Ph.D. holders or are pursuing their Ph.D.

Internships Opportunities

there are some companies who are here to hire, TCS is one of them who are giving the role of system engineers at 20k per month. In this internship, students have to maintain systems and create a new sub-system for doing a job.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee for us is around 3 lpa, without hostel and scholarship, but with scholarships, it is around 2.15 lpa, and being a hosteler, the total fee is 3.15 lpa. But for juniors, it is 3.75 lpa with scholarships and hostel fees. There are government scholarships available.

Campus Life

At beginning. It was a little easier but as days went by, the rush for completion started to feel, due to COVID-19, our college started a bit late so we actually got a less breaks. But overall life on Campus is going great with a lot of books in the library to study from. And there are sports played on campus.

Hostel Facilities

In hostel. We have room accommodations for 4 people with 4 fans, 6 lights, and a study table and chairs. The quality of the meal needs improvement, by nutrition, it is best but in terms of taste, it is not so good. To get into the hostel, it is first come first serve and the total cost is 1lpa. The hostel will be the best option as there is no building or houses nearby.

Hostel Fee: INR 100000 per year

Admission

There is an entrance exam called AEEE or Amrita Engineering entrance exam. To get into BTech CSE, we should get at least 90 percentile and above. You can find the exam form on their website with fees of 200 rupees. There are also reservation seats available for lower-class and disabled people. I think they can improve the admission process by simply keeping a simple process.

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

Placement Experience:

1.) Placement begins from the pre-final year and we are allowed to apply for companies from the final year. 2.) Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Along with core biotech companies, many IT companies are also hiring students at a very decent package. 4.) I plan to pursue a master's after this course.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in their final year. Many reputed companies like accenture, TCS, zoho, HCL, etc. visited and many of my friends also got placed with a good package. The highest package from my batch was 50lpa in company called motorq. The average package is around 4lpa.

Placement Experience:

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.

It's a good college for me.

Placement Experience:

From final year students and 3rd-year students eligible for attending the campus placements in this campus so many companies are there like Wipro, wheels India, so many IT companies in this average package starting as 18000 to 40000 students should have a minimum percentage of 6.80cgpa eligible for placement I completed the degree I got a placement on IT company.

Amrita and its Dubbing voice

I applied for vit, snu, cuet examination. I couldnt get vit because of high rank, in cuet exam i got seat at pondicherry university. but still chose amrita for its reputation, infrastructure, and curriculum. first you should attend an entrance examination called AEEE escpecially for amrita vishwa vidhyapeetham, which has 2 phases. after both phases you get placed in a ranking system. for each range of ranks each department holds a rank exceptancy of the entrance participants. other than AEEE you can also get throw using JEE marks...Read More

A decent university

I applied to many colleges like Thapar College, Manipal College, VIT, and LPU and others. I got selected from many colleges, but I chose this college because of its ranking as it ranked 4th best university and 1st in the best private university. This was the only reason for the selection. Now it is also the 7th best university in india and 2nd in private universities. I only got rejected from the Manipal College of Engineering, and they didn't mention the reason for the rejection, but I assume the entrance exam was not so good for me. I rejected other colleges because I find Amrita University better than others. There are many ways to get admission, like from JEE mains or advanced and Amrita's own exam, AEEE.
