Here faculty and student ratio is like this institute having 200 faculty among aproxx 4000 student which best . almost all faculty are having atleast a PHD degree and many of them having higher also. thair teaching method is also good some old profeccer are you can say not proactive they just come and complete thair lecture like a radio clip but many of new and some old are such a uotsanding at teching . exames are always timly and this is a semester basis and you to not to worry mcuh to pass the examination here . here basically two exame in one semester that are mid sem of 30 marks and end sem of 50 marks and 20 are internal marks.

Students gets many internship opportunities from third yearof thair couse . tata, infosys , and many more . goldmanoptumpaytm. De shaw in the software and it sector. many projects are going on in technology fields

The overall placement percentage is 98.87%. with the average package of 15.98 LPA and 83.40 LPA of the highest package. more than 750 job offers are rolled out by over 250 companies. From 5 semster student became eligible for the campus placement.

Fees structure ison semester basis you have to pay every semester fees hike policy is controled by the MHRD of india . here institute fee per semester is 62,500 and hostel of per semester is 15,000 and mess is of 17,000 . so that it is approximately 8 lakh for four year . here a fee wevier is given to all the st/sc student on institute fee so that fees for four year is 3,40,000. and alsp a fee remission is given to general and OBC student having thair gamily income less than 2 lakh. Scholarships also provided here by the institute or many organizatins like sahay Award of ecellence, har prasad shastri merit, Malli Master Babu Scholarship programe and many more.

Campus life is very good here but infrastructure you can is quit low but here we have djlhc lecture hall complex which is of the top level among all nit and even better frome some iits. There are mainly 3 fests that are- 1. Culfest - this is the Annual cultural festival deals wit all the cultural events which last ib 4-5 days helds in FEB. 2. Urjaa - this is the annual sports fest of nit jsr which deals with all the sports competition last 4 days helds in november . 3. Ojass - this is the annual techno management festof nit jamshedpur . it is among the top notch techfests in the county.

There are 9 bos and 4 girls hostal in nit jamshedpur . For boys only first year student have to accommodate in double sharing room and rest all have given single rooms in hostals. all the hostals have the facilities of mess and wi-fi . in the room you got a single bed a table chair and a cupboard also with seperate doors. meal quality is quit good not very good . registration is done with the admission or the registration for semesters.

You have to crack the JEE MAINS examination with approprite percentile for admission at nit jamshedpur. after this you have to comlete the JOSSA registration and choice filling procces so that after 7 succesfull rounds you have alloted a seat at nit jsr.
