Dislikes
- Too many snakes in the campus,and no prevention methods have been taken.
- In the hostels with common bathroom,the toilets smell awful and are very much unhygienic.
Course Curriculum Overview
My rank was 13750 , with which the best I could have is Electrical and electronics (which is considered as the hardest course).There are around 9-10 faculty teachers for each subject And there are 32-34 sections and around 95 students in each class. The teachers are very much Qualified and educated most of them being graduate from Manipal itself and Masters from NIT surathkal.Most of the teachers just read the PPT to the students,but some really to put in effort. The mid terms are conducted after 2 months of teaching.and They are easy to pass.most of the Students face difficulty in Chemistry cycle.

The Top Recruiters are Accolite Digital,Adani,Adobe Flipkart and etc.with avg package of 12.6 LPA Formula Manipal-Participated in Formula Bharat 2023 and stood in 2 nd in cost and manufacturing,6th in business plan. Project Manas Founded in 2014 ,is the AI and robotics student research and development team of the institute.They have participated in Student unmanned aerial system 2023 at Maryland USA.
Placement Experience
Manipal institute of technology offers good placements every year for Btech courses, especially the CSE branch.The placement percentage for Btech stood at 88.4 %.In 2023 the highest package offered was 54.75 lakhs(CSE).
Fees and Financial Aid
Manipal Institute Of technology is quite expensive,But still stands as one of the best Private colleges.tuition Fee is increased by a 90k-100k each year depending upon the course opted. Scholarship is offered to those who have secured rank less than 100 in the MET exam.
Campus Life
Tech Fest also known as 'Tech Tatva' is conducted in the month of October.And the annual fest is conducted in the month of March called by the name 'Revels'. Special guests like Rahul dua,Akash gubta have performed in the event. There are plenty of books and journals in library,there is indeed no doubt about it . There are many clubs in MIT,you can join any club as per your interest.For example-APERTURE-PHOTOGRAPHY CLUB. And etc
Hostel Facilities
You will be provided with a essential kit containing A bottle, toothpaste and brush, umbrella, bucket,mug,bedsheet and a pillow.and room cleaning is done once every 2 days. There are 3-4 kitchens and 6-7 messes and 2 food courts.Meal quality is decent and each day we menu is different. For the first year there are 6 hostels allotted for girls and 6 for boys . registration process for hostel in priority based ,where the one with least rank gets to choose first. The hostel fee are very much affordable.and you can find the website for registration for hostel in the Main Manipal website.
Admission
To join Manipal Institute Of technology,we will have to appear for the entrance exam "MAHE" you can find the application form from the manipal official website and other dates regarding the Exam.After the Entrance exams we will get our Rank within 2 -3weeks.and after 20-25 days of the result,we can enter the councelling process.They Publish the cutt off rank of each round after its completion. The admission process was really smooth, and didn't take too long.
