Likes

The faculty is very good to us and they explain in a very detailed way to understand.
They celebrate every fest and conducting cultural events and programs
The campus is very eco-friendly there are so many plants and tress and there is say no to plastic in the campus

Dislikes

The fee is very high we have to pay the full fee and it increases 5000 every year.
We have one canteen and the canteen food is not good in taste.
The bus maintenance is not good they are using less buses for more students

I choose this course because I like computers and I want to go into the software field that's why I choose this course. The faculty-student ratio is 3:27. The faculty qualification is Mtech and Ph.D. They are very talented faculty. Every week they will conduct weekly tests and every two months they conduct mid-exams.

Class Size: 35Course Fees: INR 35000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The first year fee is 35000 per year and the examination fee is 3000 per semester and the book cost is also what we have to pay. We have to pay each term fee before every semester examination. The fee hikes 5000 per year. No scholarship in AP for BTech. There are so many companies that come to campus interviews to take us.

Campus Life

We celebrate Voyage Fest which is our farewell party fest. We also celebrate the freshers' party every year. There is one library we rarely go to and read to the library. The classrooms are good and neat. We have digital classrooms. We have a tennis court and a cricket volleyball court we play daily after college. We go and distribute food sometimes to needy people.

Admission

Intermediate and polytechnic are the basic qualifications for eligibility for this course. We can find the application form on the KIET official website or through the college. The fee is 2000 for each student application. The application starts in August of every year.

1. From third year second semester students become eligible for college placements. 2. Companies visited are Cisco, Infosys and Accenture they are combined gave around 121 offers. 3. The highest package is 36 lpa and the average package is 7 lpa and lowest package is 3-5 lpa. 4. The percentage of students got placed are 80%. 5. Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chose mechanical (robotics). As they euipped with new equipment's of robotics I have inspired a lot and chose to go with this course. This course helps to understand the mechanical engineering an also robotics. It helps us to understand about the mechanism in hardware. It helps to understand about robot infrastructure and about drones. For this course if there is more depth in robotics subjects than it can better. The frequency and timing is good as they maintain a certain period of time gap between the exams and the difficulty level is also good. If studied for a week we can understand up to some level and have a chance to pass the exams.

Brief about college

Firstly I choose this college for the course availability and the fee structure for the course .At the time of joining , we don't have the course in any other college in our AP. The application process is very simple and we have to give Eamcet results by pdfs and some other details such as Name , Intermediate TC . if we get good rank ,they will accept . 1. I have got admission in Vignan college in Vizag, but in that college AIDS college is not available .So that I have choosen kakinada Institute of engineering and technology with AIDS course and with good fee structure. 2.yes , I have rejections from fee colleges .every college have their own cut off regarding rank . 3.In our college ,upto 90000 rank students who are eligible .
