Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum seems fair, it's neither more than other not more. The curriculum length is enough for a student although it includes some subjects which seem useless in the technical field. Faculty members are not perfect but good. The faculty is mostly familiar with the students and are helpful to the students.
Internships Opportunities
There are various internship opportunities provided by the college, especially through the doorway platform. It informs every ad as soon as an opportunity comes. Many students have been accepted through the campus internships but I am yet to receive one.
Placement Experience
My college, SRMIST Delhi NCR campus offers campus placements for every batch. The students become eligible for campus placements during the 7th semester which is the 1st semester of the 4th year. Many companies visit the campus annually some big some small, I do not know the actual figure. The highest package is around 40 lakhs per annum and the average is around 450000. Around 100% of students get placed out of the number of students willing to be placed. I too plan to get a placement after getting the degree.
Fees and Financial Aid
The tuition fees are fair for my batch but if we include the bus fee or hostel fee it becomes too much. For most of things, we have to spend money which makes the study highly expensive. But for the new coming batches, the fees are raised by a lot. There are jobs and scholarship opportunities on the campus but I haven't got any scholarship, Financial Assistance, or jobs from the college campus.
Campus Life
Life at the campus is just like any other college but nowadays it's really strict to wear formal clothes and the use of mobile phones is prohibited. There are many fests organized annually. Books and journals in the library are good enough for a book enthusiast but the quality of some demanded comes in short mostly during the exam time.
Admission
For admission to this college, there were two ways, either through JEE Mains or through an entrance exam of SRM's own called SREJEEE. Cutoff for both exams varies year by year. The application and admission processes are very simple and easily understandable.
