Course Curriculum Overview

I took BCA because it is necessary for my further studies. Moreover Chitkara provides excellent subjects like digital marketing, and artificial intelligence which might not be available in any other college. Student to faculty ratio is decent. The teaching methods of teachers are excellent since they make the use of most recent technology.

Class Size: 71Course Fees: INR 104000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure includes academic fees along with chalkpad ERP fees which were 20000/- to be submitted one time at the beginning of the session. Scholarship programs are available on the basis of the academic results of the students. Campus jobs are not available at the university.

Campus Life

The campus life of the university is mesmerizing and every corner of the university is filled with immense beauty and greenery is the centre of attraction of the university. Social life includes lots of clubs like Matrix Club, NSS, ebuzz, and many more. The infrastructure of the campus is beautiful.

Admission

Eligibility is a Minimum of 60% in class 12th. Application forms are available on Chitkara's Official Website. Application fees are only Rupees 1100. Application dates are Mentioned on the website. Reservation Benefits are Not Availed. Improvement is Move towards a completely online admission procedure.

DAV College Chandigarh – Strong Academics, Good Location, and Engaging Campus Life

Course Curriculum Overview:

The BCA curriculum at DAV College follows Panjab University’s syllabus, which was one of the reasons I chose this course, as it covers core computer science subjects along with practical lab work. It provides a good foundation in programming, databases, and networking, preparing students for both higher studies like MCA/MBA and entry-level IT jobs. However, the syllabus is slightly outdated and could be improved by adding more industry-relevant topics like cloud computing, AI/ML, and modern web frameworks. Exams are conducted every semester, with internal assessments and practicals in between. The difficulty level is moderate, and regular preparation makes them manageable.

Reality of BCA in Chitkara

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is is desgined nicely but the lectures is bit boring. I choose this coures because i have grea interest in programing. They and make lectures bit more engaging. The difficulty of exams aren moderate and all are in campus(offline).

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for placement in thier final year. The companies which visited are college for placements are nescafe,tata, ayurveda etc. The yearly package is 1700000 and the average package offered is 700000.

Good enviroment but bad accomodation

Placement Experience:

for the placements for bca is not very good for getting placement u dont have to get backlog in any subject. not good companies are coming this year in the collgege. they give you 2 options that is on campus and off campus placement but due to not many good companies come in the placement many students in bca opt for offcampus placement in this year. and if any company come in college for bca mostly they are for sales position with less stipend

I had a good experience in MCM

Placement Experience:

Students can attend placement seminars in their last year of graduation. There are mostly placement offers for the role of sales and marketing or chat-call executives. IT companies do visit also but very rarely and they only hire only 5 to 10 candidates. There are sometimes unpaid internship opportunities available too.

Sggs is alright, if you dont expect much

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because i was interested in computers and didn't wanted to do arts, and i was underqualified for other streams. Every class has about 45 students, the number vary but not much. The faculty and teachers are helpful. There maybe some slacking by both sides here and there but its alright. The teaching mathod varies. If you know what youre doing the exams are not that hard to pass.

Excellent collage in chandigarh

Placement Experience:

Every year number of companies visit college to give student jobs. Well known companies visit in college like Google Amazon Tata Nike etc. In the last semester we are eligible for campus placement. The highest package was given by Amazon to one of the student of our college Was 2 crore per annum. The average package of our college was 20 lakh per annum. There are likely all the students Get placement. I had planned to become a software developer after my degree was completed

A GLANCE TO MY COLLEGE

i chose this college over other colleges becuase of its reputation , in recent years Chitkara has made its name whether we talk about placements or any other various field, it has a brand value as a private college its a quite good college,this is slightly a new college that is why boards were the criteria to get admission and other colleges i applied to took admission o the basis of JEE mains and i had not scored that good in it that is why did'nt able to clear the cutoff for my required branch, i applied t o Thapar Institute Of Technology, Patiala , Chandigarh University,Punjab, Amity University, Punjab Chandigarh College of Architecture.. i got confirmation from everywhere but just in Thapar i did not get Computer Science, The elegibility criteria in Chitkara is min aggregrate of 60% in jee mains and 70% in boards then there are several cutoffs on which the branches are given to students...Read More

Review of College

I choose this college because it have a good placement ratio and packages. Here placements cell heads are helpful and teaches us about how to grab good placement. No, i didn't get a rejection from other colleges but i choose this because transportation is easy in this as compared to other colleges. The admission process is simple we have to pass board exams and give the JEE exam which is neccesary and even if we are final in JEE we can get admission in this college....Read More
