The hostels which is built in very desi style
I like the greenery in the college and college grounds
I like the placement opportunities which is provided by college

Dislikes

Water supply of the hostels are not too good
Structure of our college is very old and some are new
Hostel mess food is only eatable not too good

Course Curriculum Overview

The placement of food technology is increasing every year so I opted for this course. These are well-qualified and some faculty members are not much experienced. Are from IIT and Nities as well. There were to mid-semester sem examinations and one and some examinations in one semester.

Class Size: 59Course Fees: INR 135000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The BTech courses are very high with respect to the other AKTU colleges. There were four seats in every branch. Students are also eligible for the UP scholarship which is provided by the UP government. If you are an OBC or St SC category student then you are eligible for a UP scholarship.

Campus Life

Campus life in SBT Kanpur is very enjoyable. There are many annual events organized in executive Kanpur like Arambh, and technical. There is a central library. There are two cricket grounds one football ground one badminton court and two volleyball court available in the college.

Admission

If you have passed the examination and appeared in the engineering examination then you are eligible for admission in HBTU. If you have 55% in class 12th then you are eligible. Your application form is on the official website of sbtu Kanpur.

Placement Experience:

After 6 th semester you are eligible for campus placement. Many companies are comes likes Accenture, Cognizant, Wipro, TCS, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Cagegimini etc and they offer decent package. Highest package 3000000 and average package 400000 and profile offered as for company required. 80 percentage student get placement. Take a placement in good MNC company.

Actually I didn't research on the placement. But in college campus I saw many boards of placed students and the average package is around 4-4.5lakh per annum.and college data says about 90%of students are placed. I am preparing for both off-campus and on campus placement.

Placement Experience:

Our college offer good placement it has average placement of 11 Lpa. Highest package of 52 lpa in Google. There are many company like TCS, L&T, GOOGLE, MICROSOFT, IBM and many more visited our college. If you have CGPA greater than 7 then you are eligible for maximum placement drive. My plan is to get government job.

I choose this course because I want to be a software developer. The faculty are very kind and helpful. Almost every faculty member has completed there post-graduation from various established colleges. The examination scheme is a little bit slow here. Students can pass their semester exams if they are paying at least 45 per cent of their concentration.

All About the HBTU throught the lens of a first year student.

The other colleges which i applied to were IET Lucknow , IIIT Una , IIIT Dharwad and other lower IIITs . I choose over those since this colleges reputation and placements spoke for itself they had a very good track record regarding this course and many famous companies have been coming here repeatedly. The admission in this college is through HBTU e-counselling site which is a standalone website managed by HBTU itself . It has a registration fees of 2500 rupees is non refundable . There you fill your choice of courses . The branch is alloted according to your JEE MAINS rank and your preference list . After the seat allotment letter you have to visit college and there you will have to submit your documents then you will be given a provisional admission letter and you are given a choice to upgrade your branch to the courses you have selected in your preference list. The admission in this college for UG is given through only JEE MAINS for engineering and all other branches leaving Biotechonlogy and Biochemical where you can get admission through CUET....Read More

I only applied on josaa counselling and then in HBTU. My rank was not good enough to get a confirm seat in any core branch . Then I opted for HBTU counselling which was providing better seat in that rank if compared .Then onwards I didn't apply in any of the college. To get admission in HBTU Kanpur, you can register in the college counselling and fill the desired seats.
