IGNTU amarkantak - An University in the lap of nature

I chose this course to become a teacher like my father. I chose this University because its fee for the course is minimal as compared to other colleges and universities. The faculty-student ratio was 20:70. the faculty was really really good. All the professors were more than qualified and were experienced in their own fields. They possessed excellent communication skills, passion for teaching, adaptability as well and expertise. Their teaching methods were also good including drama arts and field works as well as various programs and seminars. Exams are held every semester followed by 2 mid sems. It was not that hard to pass it.

Internship for tourism students as manager post is given is hotels i.e 1-star hotels. At Kendriya Vidyalaya, an internship for a teacher post is given. 4 months internship under the b.ed program according to ncte rules and regulations. The outcome is an advanced learning experience and skill development.

The fee is affordable about 24000 for the whole b.ed course. Other courses i.e. b.pharma. tourism and vocational education also have a low free structure. National and State scholarship is available for financially weak students as well as category-wise scholarships. Jobs are not available at this University and it's in a remote location far from the city. I got post matric scholarship which returned 100% course fee i.e. 24000.

University Foundation Day is celebrated. Various programs and seminars i.e. national tourism week in winter around jan-feb. G 20 summit program in May. Various books for courses as well as competition books are available in the library free of cost. All facilities are available for the classroom i.e. projector and whiteboard. Sports meet once every year where you can play in the national level and competitions in between are held. Igntu diary group and hostel ggbh group. Sports club and NC club.

Entrance exam was held. Application form was available at University website. Application fee was only 100 rs at that time but now admission is done via CUET .Fee is about 750 and varies by Category. Application starts around the month of May. Reservation benefits for ST and SC students They get admission with low cutoff marks. In the admission process, a lot of students need to visit the university only for documentation from far places. So I think DV should be done in online mode and hardcopy can be collected later from students when they join the university.
