I really love machines and working around it. Thus I chose mechanical engineering and it has great scope around the world. The faculty is generally good except few teachers. But if one is interested it is very easy to learn and understand things. The student is really good besides other engineering colleges in india. Most of the teaching faculty here are IITIANs or phd from IITS and various reputed colleges from India. Term exams are very certain and held according to the curriculum which is provided by the college as they are very specific with the dates and exams. Exam level is quite standard and can be passed easily if you study in class only but you can also get good marks if you study regularly.

Microsoft, Goldman sachs, deloitte and many other reputed companies visit here for placing students with generally good stipend. There are different kind of student projects offered by the college excelling in different fields which hire freshers after some initial task phase and offer industrial experience as well as the practical understanding of the particular field.

Students become elligible for campus placements generally after 6 semester and further. Many reputed companies make offer to the students here including fortune 500 companies. Average package is around 1600000 and highest package can go upto 5000000 to 5400000 according to company. 92 % of the students who were elligible for campus placements get placed in the desired companies. My plan is to prsue masters from any reputed foreign college to get foreign understanding.

The college fees varies according to the branch opted by student though the fees revolves between 1300000 to 1800000 for the complete course. There various scholarships offered to students. One of which is named Scholar which includes 0% tution fee if you have scored 1 to 100 rank in MET exam. And if you have scored rank between 1 to 5000 then you can get 20% fee waiver on tuition fees.

Revels is the cultural fest and Tech Tatva is the tech fest organised here in the months of March and October respectively. Classroom offers good quality chairs and tables and projector is there for visual understanding with air conditioning in the classroom. Sports and extra curriculum activities are countless in numbers which are held in college. Various inter college sports meet and inter state curriculum activities are held including swimming, cricket, basketball, football, etc There are many cultural clubs and student projects which are present in college. Some of which include aaina - dramatics club , blitzkrieg - dancing club which is one the best dancing clubs in colleges all over india. Renowned student projects include formula manipal , mars rover manipal , team karting manipal etc.

Room is according to the money you pay there are hostel rooms ranging between 100000 to 250000 and the facilities include combined washrooms, laundry, cleaning, beds, wardrobe etc. Food quality is really good as it provides good quality food which is worth the money paid you can get options like veg and non veg etc. Hostel registration is easy as you can book your hostel room when the website portal is revealed to book hostel rooms you can choose the desired block and room from the website.

We have to give and qualify the entrance exam of Manipal that is called MET(Manipal entrance test) to get elligible to the course and it is must to that you have scored atleast 50% in your plus 2 to be elligible for MET. Application form is available on the official website of Mahe(Manipal Academy of Higher Education). The application fees is 2000 per form and the application dates will be available on the website of Mahe. You can fill the application form as per the schedule available on the website. Reservation is not offered generally, Only NRI reservation is offered. Rest all the process is carried out on the basis of merit.
