Course Curriculum Overview
I choose them according to my rank and according to placement in this branch. The faculty are strict and helpful. Girls and boys ratio is 7:3 All faculty hold the degree of Ph.D. and some teachers teach well but some are not up to mark. The first 2 semesters are of 4-month duration. And the exam is not tough ane can easily be passed by studying one night before.
Internships Opportunities
Internships are provided by many noncore companies and core companies like Vedanta and in noncore internships are provided by amazon Flipkart. Some companies provide a stipend of about 12k per month. The highest stipend is 1 lakh per month which was cracked by an ECE student through hakathon.
Placement Experience
After 6 semesters students are eligible for campus placement. In my branch companies like coal India, Vedanta, and Tata Steel visit here and offer a job of 8lpa and above. In my branch highest package in non-core is 55 lpa and in core is 22 lpa. Around 92% of students get placed. I will go for a job in core.
Fees and Financial Aid
6 lac for the 4-year course and 55k per semester for a hostel. Scholarships are provided to girls and SC/ST and for the home state. Reliance scholarship is for everyone. There is fee remission for ews candidate whose family annual income is less than 1 lakh.
Campus Life
The annual fest is eclectika. Books are available in the Library and online library. Projectors are provided in the classroom. There are many sports facilities. football ground, cricket ground, basketball yard, volleyball yard are also available. There many clubs and committees. E cell committee for entrepreneurship. Raga Club for singing. Abhinay Club for acting. Shaurya Club for sports.
Admission
One have to clear the jee mains exam. My jee mains rank was 69632 and i got btech in mining engineering in NIT raipur Anyone can get the application form for jee mains on the NTA website(nta.ac.in). There is a reservation for SC/ST, OBC, EWS, and home state candidates. The admission process was smooth but there was a delay during JOSAA/CSAB counseling. The college is also very good with good placement in noncore as well as core branches. The only problem in this college is the lack of a hostel. There are only 400 seats in a hostel for 1st-year students (boys). The seats in the hostel are allotted according to rank and category. In the second year hostel is allotted according to 1 semester cpi and category.
