Academics here are best. And lot of opportunities are available to excel in field of medicine.Hostels are in poor condition. Overcrowded OPD and hostels make health worse. Absence of mess is troublesome

I gave PGCET Maharashtra state I wanted to provide health care services to community I went through counselling..and it is tough to choose

MBBS And MD Course curriculum is given on the Maharashtra university of health sciences website as well as on medical council of India website. These websites are formed by the governing bodies of medical education . also one can access the course curriculum from the institutional prospectus and website

Yes it is both undergraduate and postgraduate training institution. It gives mandatory rotatory training to freshely MBBS passed students for the period of 1 year and it also trains nursing students. It gives stipend as per the government norms this year in 2018 stipend for the medical interns is 5000 rupees

For post graduate students pursuing various speciality and super speciality careers, lots of opportunities are present and they get jobs in major corporate hospitals as well as they get placed in various government projects as director of projects. World health organization also picks up talented students for their projects

Each year there is fresher welcome done as well as orientation by the dean of the college. This is followed by celebration of cultural activities in the form of Ganesh festival. This is followed by the Marathi bhasha fortnight celebration. Every year annual gathering is carried out compromising of dance drama sports competition etc in the campus. Various workshop and continued medical education conferences are carried out in the campus

This college is under the municipal corporation of greater mumbai . It's fees structure is decided by MCGM and by shikshan shulk samiti. For MBBS nearly 40000-50000 rupees are required per annum and for MD nearly 90000 rupees are needed per annum . They can be changed at any time

Till now nothing offered to open category students. However one can get scholarship for belonging to scheduled caste or tribe or OBC category

Pathology microbiology labs are accredited labs and they are ISO standardized. All genders equally take mbbs and MD in the college there is no discrimination. Those from poor society are given scholarship and help to make them pursue this expensive mbbs curriculum. There are also grievance redressal committee to address issues on violence , discrimination etc

KEM is facing constraints regarding space. Hostel accommodation are difficult to get and if one gets a room he has to share that with 4 people. There is over crowding and poor structure. Mess is available only in those hostel which are inside the campus area. Mess is not available for all hostels

Alumni meet occurs once in year or twice in year. They share their career choices and help us to find ours. Interaction with senior is pleasant. They do share their notes and help in acclimatizing with mumbai

In the medicine field exams are tough due to tough curriculum. Theory and practical exams are conducted for every class. Each candidate have to pass in both separately scoring more than 40% in each .there is also internal assessment which is carried out and marks of which are submitted at the end of the session to governing university . These internal assessment marks are added to final scores

I applied for PGCET through online application and then gave the entrance exam conducted simultaneously all over state for domicile students of Maharashtra state. I got my rank 1200 in maharashtra state merit list number and I was invited for preference form filling..which was both online and offline at my regional centre in GMC nagpur After first round of selection list publication, second and final personal round was conducted at JJ medical college Mumbai and counselling was done. I chose Seth g.s.m.c. and K.E.M hospital Mumbai and hence got admitted

I got under the dean of KEM hospital. My department faculty is always there to help in all form. Faculties can be contacted during office hours that is from 8 am to 5 pm in the college campus area in the department. Few faculties are on deputation in a various peripheral hospital for hospital projects they can be contacted first through the phone and they can be met in person at their current working place.
