Government brennen college is an educational institution under the control of government.Admission to this college is purely based on merit.there is no seperate entrance exam for admission.the qualifying marks of higher secondary exams are took into consideration.It is an arts college.Iwas interested in studying in an arts college rather than studying a proffessional course.I liked to enjoy my college life thats why.The admission process was a bit tiring.many certificates had to be processed for this purpose.

I liked to enjoy the college life well.Thats the main reason i undertook my studies in an arts college rather that living a stressful life in a professional college.Ts i had expected it was a good college atmosphere.There was no need to take studies extra seriously.Talking about the syllabus it was quite easy to handle.I undertook B.Sc and the faculties was also good.They are very helpful in clearing doubts.

Being an arts college there is not much need of internship programs and all but some companies are coming for internship programmes.The stipend rates offered are not much high.It is usually below 10000.The number of companies coming had increased in past few years.

As i had told being an arts college not much placements are happening in our college.I think that the word placement are usually needed for proffessional colleges and courses.Students usually coming to arts college are those wishing to secure a job in teaching section or related to that.They are not those wishing for quick job and are able to pyrsue future studies.certainly some companies are coming for placement among them majority being in the banking section.The payment scale offered ranges between 15000-30000.

Talking about the cultural and technical activities held in our college,yearly there are many programmes conducted by the college union.the programs conducted include college day,union day,freshers day and so and so.Also various other programmes incuding festival day celebrations like onam celebrations and christmas celebrations are conducted.Also many national seminars and conferences are also conducted on a regular basis.

It is a government college and there is no big fees amount that has to be paid.There is no big donation that need to be paid during the time of admission.The only fees that has to be paid is the semester fees.It was just below 1000 when i was stydying and might have increased a little now.Also an exam fees of 500 or somewhat was needed to be paid before semester exam.

Many scholarships are available for the students including egrants scholarship.Scholarships are available on the basis of merit, financial dtatus, minority communities and also on basis of caste.Scholarships for disabled students are also available. dont know whether any direct loan facilities within the college are available i dont think its not at all necessary indeed.

Truly speaking those college days were the best time in my life.I am missing it a lot.many extracurricular and cultural activities were conducted in sports also our students were good .The college had its on teams in almost every sport and has also won prizes in many competitions.talking about the sex ratios the majority are girls .The college is strong in field of politics and union elections are conducted yearly.There is no discrimination in the college based on race religion or gender.extracurriculars also inclydes debates and seminars which are conducted on present topics.also the college hads a good economical and financial status.

Hostel facilities are not available in the college.It is not a big problem because majority of students studying are coming from nearny places and are daily scholars.So hostels are not actually necessary.For the few coming from distant places homes are av

Alumnis are the backbone of our college.They are always there in a programs and activities.Alumni meets are regularly conducted and the attendance is truly amazing.The history of college lasts more than hundread years and many thousands had undertook education from here.we have a strong alumni association and are working for the welfare of the college.They provide funds for financial upliftment of the college.The senior students are also very kubd and good .They are very helpful and helps us in clarification of doubts.
