Course Curriculum Overview
I chose mechanical engineering due to my interest in the mechanisms of any object. Our college follows a credit system and each subject have min of two faculty. we can select the faculty on our own. Every faculty member has completed their PHD. all are well experienced in teaching. we have two mid-exams for lab-integrated subjects and three unit exams for normal subjects. if we study well, we can pass easily.
Internships Opportunities
CERN Switzerland, NTU university Singapore, MITAX Germany etc are the foreign internship companies. I have not been involved in any project but if we have any idea, the faculty will promote the idea and encourage our talent.
Placement Experience
From 6th sem students are eligible for placements. there is 60-70 % of students get jobs through placements. I plan to get a job and start an entrepreneurship. to start and develop a company.
Fees and Financial Aid
We have 3 different fee structures however hostel fees are the same for everyone. I am paying nearly RS 94000 per year. there will be no scholarship provided. I am still studying in the college. Currently, we can apply for internships in companies like CERN, and research in top colleges like NTU Singapore etc The above internship will be offered by our college and have a max stipend of RS 3 lakhs per month in CERN Switzerland.
Campus Life
we will be having Lavaza as our annual fest. and every festival has an event without fail. there will be plenty of books and journals in the library And also computers with an internet connection are provided in them. recently the boards were removed and a large TV has been installed in which the teachers were explaining their lessons through ppt. If interested in any sport, there will be some tournaments and all. every month there will be codethon in which a coding competition is conducted and prize money will be given to the top 3. there will be NCC and champs will be there.
Hostel Facilities
we will be given a bed, a bucket and will be 3 types of rooms. 3 share ,4 share ,6 share. there will be RO purifiers for drinking water in which normal,hot and cold water will be supplied. for meal, morning food will not be good but except saturday, everyday they provide chivken in dinner. in the clg website we can directly register for the rooms.
Admission
I am a lateral entry student and therefore I do not write any entrance exam. But our admission is done based on our diploma scores. According to our scores, fees are classified into 3 stages. since my percentage is low I have to pay the 94000.
