My college my review.

Firstly I wanted to join CSE because of the craze for it. But for my rank, it is difficult to get CSE in top colleges of AP. And here comes the rescuer, IT which is almost similar to CSE. I will advise you to take IT in top colleges if it has good placements. The faculty is friendly to contact. But the thing is you have to start the networking first. The resources are very good in our college.

From 3rd year some top companies will visit our college for internships. Up to now, 4-5 companies have visited in 3-1 sem. However, it is not easy to get an internship. Because of 1000 members almost 500 students(shortlisted based on the C&DS program) attend the written test. In them, only 20-30 members will shortlisted for interviews and only 5-8 will get internships. So by the end, 50 out of 1000 students get internships. But the stipend is greater than 50K in most of the cases.

Before corona pandemic, our college had almost 100% placement. However, due to the situation in corporate, it is difficult to bring the companies for campus placements. But compared to other colleges our college is still better regarding placements. Because still in this horrible condition, 10 members of our seniors are placed on visas with 32 LPA. But unfortunately, only 1 of 10 in them is from IT.

The course fee structure for our batch is 70K per year. And there are additional fees for books and value-added courses. For convener quota students, they will get fee reimbursement from the government of AP. If you are not eligible for it you can apply for an educational loan. In our college, 2 banks are located so it will be easy to take loans inside the college.

In our college, a large number of student clubs are formed which will be useful for students to improve their skills. Fests are only a few. But they are celebrated grandly. We have a gym, radio, swimming pool etc. As a student RJ, I will recommend you join our Cole radio to increase your communication and network-building skills.

In my view the hostel management is so worst. In the beginings the food is good but by passing days the food is becoming worse. Don't expect fast reaction from hostel management. The worst thing is the college wifi is not working properly at hostels. And they are constructing a floor on our hostel while we are in the hostel. It is mindless decision to allow men into hostel from 8am to 5 pm in the name of work. It is very uncomfortable for us. I will recommend to be a dayscholar than a hosteller in our college.

The admission process for our college is in three streams. Through EAPCET(convener)results. As I have ews reservation I got placed in IT with 11k rank in 2021. Through EAPCET B-cat. The fee for B-cat is 3 times more than the convener quota. Through management seat.
