My College

I chose the course because I was interested in it and wanted to learn more about it. B.tech course in Information Technology branch is of 4 yrs with 2 semesters each. In our branch we have I guess 15 to 20 faculties. Coming to how the faculty teach it depends some each super and some average it depends on who is teaching . Faculty are well qualified though. Teaching method means some use board, some teach using ppts,etc.

Internships from companies like Acrobat, Visa, Providence,etc were provided from our college. There is a special training for DSA in our college and special training for placements too. And our college is trying to bring more internship opportunities for us every year.

Placements begin from 7th semester in our college and students are eligible from.that semester. Companies visiting our college are Accenture, Tcs, Capgemini,Visa, etc. Highest package went upto 49 lakhs for the company Paloalto and average is 6 lakhs. Placements are very good in our college. Our college is known mostly for placements and students join too because of that in our college. Almost 70 to 80 percent people get placed in our college. My plans after getting degree is to work and after that higher studies most probably.

If we are coming through the state level exam which is EAPCET in Andhra Pradesh then our college fee will be 70000 for every branch but if we are from the management quota then it depends on the branch in which CSE branch has the highest fee. There are scholarships for students who are eligible for JVD. Campus placements are really good in our job. Our college provides a lot of assistance in that point.

Life is good in the campus. There are a lot of things to see in our campus. There is a lot of greenery our there. Tech fests are conducted every year any month it can be. A lot of books are available in our library. Sports are available in our campus and there is a gym too in our college and there are many clubs for extra curricular activities. Clubs like Rythmic thunders, Splash out, Spartha , etc are run by students in our college.

There are many types of hostels , it depends on which we opt for and the cost also varies depending on that. Ac hostels are also available there cost is higher like for ac hostels it is 120000 approximately and for non-ac it is 80000. These are for attached washrooms one and for common washroom hostels it varies. Food is on an average good in our college. Registration Process depends on the availability of the rooms and which we opt for and the price varies based on that.

First to apply for our college there was an entrance test named EAPCET which is conducted in Andhra Pradesh every year for getting admission into Engineering Colleges of Andhra Pradesh. There was a specific cut off for each college to get selected in. After getting our result we had to apply for the colleges and branches we want to get in according to our rank and the cut off of that college for that particular branch according to our rank.
