My College Life

The curriculum was good, I chose Artificial Intelligence and Data Science as AI is ruling the world, and there will be more future in the AI field. The faculty was not that good as AI is evolving recently and faculty are still learning the basics. There will be 2 mid-exams for each sem, and it is not that difficult to pass if we learn the topic accordingly.

The internship offers available in the college are Visa, intuit, Atlassian, etc with a stipend of 50000 per month, but they were hard to crack. I have done one project that is "Money For Nothing" under the WISE program conducted by our college.

I am still at the start of 3rd year so I don't know clearly about the placements, but my seniors were well placed in companies with a 4.5LPA. The students who completed 3rd year 2 semesters are eligible for placements. The companies visited till now are Infosys, Renoult, Accenture, Scifi etc. The highest package is 42LPA for one girl, and 32LPA was secured by 5 students by the VISA company. The placements were 100% who have passed all the subjects. I planned to do the job and excel in it.

The academic fees per year are 70000 and there are financial assistance for students whose parents are financially not stable under the JVD scheme. There are some internship offers from companies like Intuit, Visa, Goldman Sachs, Atlassian, etc for 3rd-year students with avg stipend of 50000 per month. The campus jobs were also going well.

Life at the campus was quite busy now, but at the start of my btech life I enjoyed many fests, there will be fresher parties for freshers. And annual days, Women's day celebrations as our college is a women's college. All kinds of newspapers and books are available in our college library from academics to stories, novels, etc. The classrooms are well equipped with ACs, a Projector, and a Green board for teaching. There are many sports in our college like cricket, volleyball,throwball, kabbadi etc. There are also many clubs that involve us in many extracurricular and co-curricular activities. Some of the clubs are Rythmic Thunders, which is a dance club, Vishnu Music School, for all kinds of musical instruments and singing, Splash out an acting club, NSS, a service club, Style and Slay, a fashion club etc.

The admission process was smooth as my college is under the government, and the entrance exam is AP EAPCEt. In the year 2021, when i joined the cutoff rank for AI&DS was 8700 for the general category. Yes, reservation benefits are there, for minority castes the reservation will be available. As the process is totally good,i don't think any improvement is required for it.
