Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is well structured. Some modifications happen depending on the industry. I have completed my diploma in ECE. I have some knowledge of it and mostly I got interested in electronics and communication. Though I have the option to change branches I opted for this with my interest. The advantage of this is we can move either with the hardware side or the software side. The faculty in our college is good. All of them are graduates and many of them have successfully completed their Ph.D. in different domains. Most importantly they are experienced. They teach very well and encourage us to involved and explore more. Teaching methods are more. They use blackboard, and presentations, conveying effectively, providing us notes, they showing us practically. The semester pattern is followed. For every 6 months, we will have end exams. Getting a Pass mark is not a big task. We just need to follow classes regularly and preparing is enough.
Internships Opportunities
There are a lot of opportunities. They offer a large number of internships. They might be online or offline. Even They give us the flexibility to choose our internship. Mostly They share information which is a good organization and They also share the details of the organization in different domains. Examples are the IIT Madras internship, IBM, Aicte, Triveni Earth Movers, and so on.
Placement Experience
The thing everyone considers is placements. Actually, we know this year is a very high recision period for all. Getting placed is the most difficult thing. But in this college until now this is the first college with the highest placements. Though it was low compared to the previous year, it is the highest place in providing placements. The training for placements is super good. They train us in every aspect of what the industry wants. Management will let us do hard work and even they do as much as we did. The average package is 6 lakhs per annum. Even some are placed through an internship. From 3rd year 2nd semester one is eligible for recruitment.
Fees and Financial Aid
Various Scholarships are provided to Meritorious students. Merit Scholarships are available for B.Tech. Students. Fees vary with the course. The minimum fee is approx 1.5 lakhs and if the candidate takes a management seat he has to pay the course fee along with the college fee. Scholarships are one from the state government JVD and another NSP for reservation candidates.
Campus Life
Of course, BTech life is about fun, joy, and finally tension. For me it was good. The extra activities on the campus are extraordinary I have never seen these many activities in a campus that too engineering. There are nearly 24 clubs that help us to choose our interests and improve our communication skills. Books in the Library are vast. Every book is available for us free of cost and they provide a digital Library too. We can use that system or else Internet.
Hostel Facilities
Yes, hostel facilities are good. Compared to the other nearby colleges. I think this would be the best because the rooms, beds and the food is good. The fee depends on the type of hostel. The registration process is a little long. The beautiful thing is security. We will never see this much of high-level security anywhere. I assure for this. The process of going out is not at all easy.
Admission
The admission process in my college is not that much difficult. To get admission into SVECW in a B.Tech course one must have to clear entrance exams like EAPCET, and ECET. If the student has completed his/her intermediate and scored a good rank in EAPCET then he/she is eligible for B.tech which is a 4-year course. If the student scored a good rank in ECET then he/she is eligible directly into the 2nd year of B.Tech. The application form is provided by the administration office in the college itself. One has to submit documents such as tc, study certificate, aadhar, income, and caste certificates. The fee to be paid during the administration is 4000 for one year. Usually, the applications start in April-June. Reservation candidates have the benefit that they will get a scholarship from NSP by the national government. The cutoff rank for the Reservation candidates is high. I think improvement is not necessary because all happens in a chronological way.
