My College Life in KLU

The curriculum was good. The faculty are also well educated. We can choose our professors which is a very good opportunity. There used to be 3-4 internal exams apart from finals. I chose the Computer Science course and it has the best faculty. The faculty who taught coding skills were excellent.

Placements were very good. In my year there were 100% placements. The hiring starts in 3rd year 2nd semester. There are around 50+ companies that visited our campus in 2020. The packages offered by those companies go from 3.5 lakhs to 22 lakhs per annum. Infosys, TCS, Wipro, cts hire in large numbers around 300 each. I was offered in 6 companies with the highest being 6 lakhs per annum.

The fee structure when I was studying was 87500 per semester and if it's a management quota seat there is an additional amount you have to pay that is around 30 thousand. Now in 2023, it'd have peaked up to 1.5 lakhs. Financial assistance was there and there were few concessions for toppers. There were good campus placements in 2020, many major companies offered jobs.

The campus life was great at kluniversity. We had a Narthana club, singing club, art club, photography club, etc. The annual fest is called Samyak in KLU which will be nothing less than a concert. The library at KLU is one of the best things. It's beautiful and there are so many books too. There are sports clubs in which there are so many numbers of sports like badminton, kho-kho, table tennis, lawn tennis, volleyball, football, and basketball are there. The classrooms and infrastructure are also one of the best aspects in KLU.

I've written the KLUEEE exam which is conducted by the university and I got around 6000 rank. But there is also a quota that allows you to get admission via intermediate marks, in my case, it was 967 so I got the branch that I wanted. Apart from that they do consider eamcet rank and NIT rank as well for admission.
