Remarks

The college has excellent faculty and infrasructure. It has a great potential to become one of the best colleges in India. However, placements are a concern at the college.

Entrance Preview

Jamia has its own entrance exam. I opted for this college, because it is one of the best engineering colleges in delhi with excellent faculty. Also it is a Central University.

Internships Opportunities

College internship experience was good. ALthough we got our intenrships from our personal contatcs. There was not a great amount of assistance in that regard from the college.

Placement Experience

Placements is one area which the college really needs to improve upon. Being in delhi the college has access to many top notch comoanies, but there wasnt a great effort put by the college placement teams to approach the companies.

College Events

There are annual fests of different technical societies that take place in the college. Those were celebrated with great enthusiasm with many teams participating from IP university and DTU.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure was very nominial. It is one of the cheapest college in terms of fees. Annual Fees was 7000 rupees. (excluding the hostel facilities) Hostel facilties was around 20000 rupees annually.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes the economic weaker section students were given scholarships. Also the topper of the class was given a scholarship of Rs 30000 per semester.

Campus Life

The labs were excellent in the college and the robotics club was very active in the college. There was a constatnt participation in the national events like SAE BAJA and EFFICYCLE.

Hostel Facilities

Although I wasnt staying at the hostel, the food at hostel was excellent. The quality of food and the taste was as good as any food you'd get in the best of hostels. Hostel rooms were big enough to accommodate 2 people.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Exam Structure

The exam structure constituted of 2 sessionals and one end-term exam for each semester. So in a period of 5 months there were 3 exams which makes it a rigorous structure.

From 6th-7th semester students become eligible for campus placement The placement process starts in July August of the 4th year and continues until March pril Students can apply for internships from the 3rd year, and many companies offer PPO (Pre-Placement Offers) based on internships Some of the top recruiters include Google Microsoft Amazon Adobe Atlassian Apple Deloitte Goldman Sachs Samsung Salesforce Bain & Company Flipkart Myntra (I copy pasted this from college official pdf and from website) Highest is 85+ lpa i guess according to dtu website and some seniors also told me that Overall average package is 15-18 LPA for btech Common roles offered include Software Development Engineer (SDE) Data Scientist -Data Analyst Product Engineer Business Analyst My plans after getting degree is --getting a core placement in oil refinery or oil rig

Descriptive Review of MAIT.

Placement Experience:

The placements of MAIT are decent as compared to market conditions. But the data shown on website or availble at various platforms is not the reality. The mass chunk of students who get a job are placed under and around 6LPA package.

The placement status of the college is nice but specially the older status was amazing and the seniors told me that this year was the recession time so the placement was not so good but it will be good with time

Placement Experience:

The eligible students get placements, from 4tg year first semester onwards placements will start, companies like Accenture, tcs, infotech, wipro will attend. I think atleast 7GPA is min required for college placements

Life of a college student

Course Curriculum Overview:

When it comes to curriculum everything us fine accept 1st year curriculum.My branch is ece in 1st year i have to study chemistry and physics which is no use for anybody in future it is just waste of time pretty outdated.For 2,3 and 4th year curriculum is far better than what it is in 1st year. Odd semester starts form August and after 2 month we have to give midsem exam.1 month after midsem we have to give endsem.There is very short time period between midsem and endsem examinations.Even semester starts form January everything is same as that of odd semester.

Delhi Technological University: A place for overall development

Placement Experience:

College placements are amazing. Right now the recession is there otherwise the average package of Computer Software and IT branch is as high as 21LPA and overall average package of the college goes as high as 14LPA

So placement cell is not present in college because of low intake of students but the students are very skilled to crack Gsoc , and other internship opportunities which lands them into big company.Also very good alumni network is present in college which boosts the placement of college.

igdtuw is a good college with best placement

Placement Experience:

placement in igdtu is as good as dtu and nsut , many companies visit our campus every year like google, amazon, microsoft, adobe, vipro, uber, ola, atlassian etc. the highest package in 2023 was of 51 LPA by microsoft and average package is around 20 LPA

DTU PROS AND CONS

Placement Experience:

Placements are good in DTU. Usually a student is eligible to sit in placements from 4th year. Last year 325+ companies visited the campus like google, abode, Amazon, Microsoft, zomato, samsung, maruti suzuki,etc. They all have made 2050+ offers. The highest domestic package was offered by Atlanssian of 82.05LPA. The overall average package was 16.71LPA. The average package of my branch (Production and Industrial Engineering) was 12.34LPA. And in tech branches like CSE, IT it was around 24-25 LPA. Almost everyone is allowed to sit for placements. In PIE branch around 60-65% of student got placed in on campus.

Jamia internships are very helpful

Yes I also apply in nit Uttrakhand and i got admission there but i choose jamia milla islamia because of there location and there better ranking in world. I didn't get rejection from nit Uttrakhand jamia is my choice. For admission first you have to qualify jee mains exam after that you have to fill online application form of jamia millia islamia then 7 or 8 days later a list is published by the university if your rank is good enough for jamia you will get admission there....Read More

First of all. Jamia millia is not an college. Its an central university. And i choose it because of their faculty and infrastructure and also for that jamia has 4th top university among all indian university in NIRF rankings. But i also applied for maulana azad college delhi (MAMC) because of its top ranking medical college. But jamia is now good. Admission process:- Eligibility:- you have to crack NEET exam conducted by NTA. After result you have to participate in counseling and in choice filling process you have to apply for this college at mcc portal. Then if you allot jamia millia islamia university delhi then you have to come jamia campus for Admission process. Totally offline process. Also jamia have options for B.Tech; polytechnic, BSc , BA, MA, architect courses but i know in detail only about my medical field.
