The hostel facility is good nd we enjoy her alot.
Faculty is supportive and caring for each and every student in the campus.
Mess quality food is good and we get good amounts of nutrition from food.

Dislikes

The infrastructure of college is not so good.
Our mechanical department is old now , but college is not providing.
College fees is high, middle class student dace little issues in oying high amount of fees.

Course Curriculum Overview

Mechanical branch is a very good branch for optimistic people and I am glad that I got mechanical engineering branch, faculty is supportive in order to provide internship opportunities and good placement.

Internship opportunities are quite fine here and here we get internships in our third yaera year and varies depending on knowledge of students, internship opportunities are good here even an average student can get a good placement.

Placements are good at Harcourt Butler Technical University and seniors are supportive in every aspect, our placement criteria is also fine here faculty is supportive and 10 lakes is average package of mechanical engineering.

Fees and Financial Aid

See annual fess for first year is around 135000 and when you go in second year it reduces yo 127000 and if you take hostels another 61000 will be taken in which 36000 will be mess fees and left money is for hostel room.

Campus Life

Campus is quite good for students pursuing btech and cocurricular activities are managed seriously in order to provide education to students and nurture them for their development. Societies and clubs are active regular.

I choose this course because I want to be a software developer. The faculty are very kind and helpful. Almost every faculty member has completed there post-graduation from various established colleges. The examination scheme is a little bit slow here. All About the HBTU throught the lens of a first year student.

The other colleges which i applied to were IET Lucknow , IIIT Una , IIIT Dharwad and other lower IIITs . I choose over those since this colleges reputation and placements spoke for itself they had a very good track record regarding this course and many famous companies have been coming here repeatedly. The admission in this college is through HBTU e-counselling site which is a standalone website managed by HBTU itself . It has a registration fees of 2500 rupees is non refundable . There you fill your choice of courses . The branch is alloted according to your JEE MAINS rank and your preference list . After the seat allotment letter you have to visit college and there you will have to submit your documents then you will be given a provisional admission letter and you are given a choice to upgrade your branch to the courses you have selected in your preference list. The admission in this college for UG is given through only JEE MAINS for engineering and all other branches leaving Biotechonlogy and Biochemical where you can get admission through CUET....Read More

I only applied on josaa counselling and then in HBTU. My rank was not good enough to get a confirm seat in any core branch . Then I opted for HBTU counselling which was providing better seat in that rank if compared .Then onwards I didn't apply in any of the college. To get admission in HBTU Kanpur, you can register in the college counselling and fill the desired seats.
