Course Curriculum Overview
I am interested in coding so I want to get admission in CS or IT branch only but I did not get into these branches in any nits so I chose this college which was not a bad decision. here faculties are good and have completed their masters and Ph.D. from IITs and NITs. Exams are held on time There are two sets and 1 end Sem in each semester. if you study 10 to 15 days before exams you can pass them easily.
Internships Opportunities
Since I am in my second year I am not aware of any projects and I have not attended any internships but seniors tell me that you can get a good internship from the second year onwards on campus as well as off-campus.
Placement Experience
From 7 semesters you are eligible for placements around 80 percent of student get placed but in CS their placement is 95 percent. after getting a degree I plan to get a good job as a software engineer in any good company.
Fees and Financial Aid
The academic fee is 135000 which is reduced to 127500 from the second year onwards. you can apply for an up government scholarship which is 56000 for general and orcs and 90000 for SC, ST. The college also provides an EWS fund for some students from each branch which is 75000.
Campus Life
There are many clubs for dance culture literary society where you can develop your hobby. you can find any book in the library related to the study. Adhyayan is an annual function which is held every year. the classroom contains ACS and a smart board.
Hostel Facilities
The meal is good in the hostel which is decided by the students themselves through the mess secretary in the hostel, there is an almirah and fans. a chair and a table for study. A bed is also provided. hostel is quite affordable which is around 2k per month.
Admission
College is very good in terms of placement and academics. Last year placement of my branch (information technology) was 14 lpa. here seniors are very cooperative and supportive. It is the top government of UP other than IITs and NITs. In my opinion, it is better than lower like nits of the northeast. The college provides good internship opportunities for students In spite of CS and IT chemistry is also a good branch. I have been admitted through the OBC quota. To be eligible to get admission in HBTU you need to have a good jee mains rank around 90 to 96 percentile for general or obc.
