Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course as I decided to study B.TECH CSE when I was in 10th. About the course, there are 8 semesters of 6 months. There are almost 200 students in the CSE department and 25 experienced faculties for the CSE department.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 90000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The overall fee is 701000. Which course fee is 90000/yr and the hostel fee is 80000/yr. If you have more than 85% on your board you are eligible to get a scholarship from the college. The amount is different for the 85-90% range, 90-95%range, and 95-100% range.

Campus Life

It's a very lush green campus. The total area of the campus is about 32 acres. There are a total of 2 academic blocks, 3 canteens, and different gyms for both boys and girls. There are a total of 4 clubs that conduct different events throughout the year.

Hostel Facilities

There is only one hostel building for girls. Having 4 floors, a female guard is always present in the hostel for any urgency, mess is also available, a proper weekly menu is maintained by the mess, and laundry service is also available.

Hostel Fee: INR 80000 per year

Admission

The IEMJEE exam is conducted by the college every year to get admission to your desired course. Also, the minimum percentage criteria for the boards is 75%. Also, you can get direct admission if have an equivalent or more than 80%.

Placement Experience:

Placement are decent in my point of view as college manage to provide campus placement to every eligible students as company ask for your Overrall grade point of the student and apply their standard as 6.5 ogpa or without any backlog and take exam of aptitude and it is based on company policy they take group discussion and then personal interview and if it is software company then coding rounds also. Students in7th semester are ready for placement. In current scenario 6 companies have visited the campus and around 40-45 offers has been given to students. Here each company come with only one package and different job roles some company came with 5.5 lpa and some with 5 lpa and some with 7 lpa so maximum till now from college is 7 lpa and average till now of placed students is 5.5 lpa. 60 percent of students get placed in past years stastics. My plan is to go for higher education ie mtech from good institution.

The placement of my college are good in electrical and mining branch the placement are very good while in other branch the placement is decent in this college many companies are visited like vedanta etc. many good companies are come here the 60 percent students are placed every year but in mining and ee the placement rate is almost 100 percent my plans after getting degree is to go in very good company with very good placement

Placement Experience:

Each year in seventh semester placement companies visit college for taking students. In mechanical engineering Vedanta and Secure meter come for taking students. The average placement of this college is seven to eight lakhs and highest placement is twenty two lakhs. The best part is the placement in core companies. The average placement CGPA REQUIRED FOR PLACEMENT IS SEVEN CGPA.

I have not applied to any other colleges. UEM is the first college where i had applied for the first and last time. I chose this college as it is the closest from my home where i did not have to live in hostel. Secondly it has decent placements. Lastly i saw many positive reviews about the college that it is one of the best private colleges in the eastern region of india.
