Course Curriculum Overview
I chose the Electrical Engineering branch because I want to work in the government sector. Well-qualified teachers are here, almost everyone is a Ph.D. holder. Some are really good at teaching while the rest are just average. Mid-semester exams are not so difficult to pass but for internal marks, you have to work hard.
Internships Opportunities
Companies like India Mart, IBM, PayTM, Samsung, Flipkart, and Amazon offer internships in this college. The stipend varies from 10k/- month to 60k/- month. Till now highest stipend offered is 60k to a student from the CSE branch.
Placement Experience
From 3rd semester, students become eligible for placements. Top recruiting companies come here like Reliance, evalurese, ITC, Aarti Industries Adam Walmer, and Exxon. Placements are decent. Two years back, the Highest package was INR 45 LPA and the average package was INR 9 LPA. Around 90-92% of students get placed every year.
Fees and Financial Aid
In the 1st year, the fee for the whole year is about 135000 and in the second year, the course cost is 127500. The scholarship program is conducted by UP scholarship in which they give 50k to 60k money good for us and it is worth for us. Yes, you will get placed easily in this college as placement is quite good here.
Campus Life
The college is divided into two campuses as East campus and the West campus. In the East Campus academic area and in West Campus boys hostel is situated, also a large space on west campus is of enjoying. A cricket ground is also there. Hbtu conducts annual fests named Adhyaay, Aagaz, and Technika.
Hostel Facilities
In the hostel, rooms are well maintained, hygiene is also quite good. The mess menu is decided by the students themselves. The quality of food is also very good in the mess. The fee for a hostel is 24k /year and for a mess is 36k/year. One can easily register for hostels, from the website.
Admission
I took the JEE MAIN entrance exam conducted by NTA every year. Then from the website of HBTU, I filled out the application form for this college. The application fee was 1500 and the application begins just after the declaration of Josaa counseling. The application process was easy.
