Course Curriculum Overview
Because of its vast scope, I chose civil engineering. The teacher-to-student ratio is 1:10. The faculty are highly qualified and the teaching method is very elaborate and creative. Very Easy to understand. Term exams are on time but a bit tough copy-checking.
Internships Opportunities
Many companies provide internship opportunities in the university starting from 2nd year and students are encouraged to involved and grab such opportunities if available. The faculty is supportive and overall good environment.
Placement Experience
6th Sem students are eligible for placements. Various companies like L&T, Samsung, Exxon Mobil, Hero, Asian Paints, IBM, etc. Highest Package -60lpa (2020), Avg package 8.5-9lpa, Above 95%get placements.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees hike policy is subject to a maximum 10%hike but it has not increased in the last 3 years due to COVID-19. Fees are Rs. 135000 for 1st year. Scholarships we can avail of are various:- UPGov scholarship for UP students. University Scholarship for EWS Students. Various Other Scholarships can be availed, the University does not have any issues. There is very good On Campus Placement available for each branch students.
Campus Life
Annual fest - ADHYAAY. Tech Fest -Technika, Sports fest -AAGAZ. Literary Fest - HUNKAAR. There are about 1,00,000 books and journals. AC Classrooms with all basic amenities. There are various sports events held around the year. There are about 9 sub councils and various clubs and details can be found on hbtu.ac.in.
Hostel Facilities
There is a fan, table, chair, and cupboard available in each room. Meal quality is above average and the menu is good. Registration forms are available on the college website admission process. The locality is good and rooms or pg for rent are available nearby.
Admission
Eligibility:- Appeared in JEE Mains. Application forms can be found on hbtu admission.nic.in and Application fees (Rs.2500) vary year on year. All Reservations are applicable as per State and Central Government Policies. Admission Process is flawless. No need for improvement.
