Canteen food is affordable and tasty at the same time
College campus is near to my house so i can reach the collge easily
College campus is huge and theres lot of greenary and sports facility

Dislikes

The classes are long and tiresome it would be better if there were frequent breaks
College doesn't provude wifi access to all the students
Fee structure is a little high it could have been less which would be better

Course Curriculum Overview

My course is B.TEch in engineering for Electronics and Instrumentation, I had to choose this course as I was not engineering to join EEE, for which I had a passion to join as I'm interested in entering The Electrical vehicles sector.

Class Size: 65Course Fees: INR 250000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Since I joined the college through Comedk my fee structure has been almost 250000 in Indian rupees, and I have not faced any fee hikes so far but initially, I had to pay a 50000 base fee for the college which is non-refundable

Campus Life

My college conducts lots of fests every year like Utsav fest and PhaseShift which is a technical fest and it has a lot of clubs providing every student nevertheless their branch an opportunity to express their talent and hidden skill

Admission

The eligibility criteria to join BMS is either through CET which is a state-level entrance exam or comedk entrance test, I got in through comedk and not through CET, the application for the college was found on the college website.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the curriculum is practical up to date and the assignments are project based that encourages better understanding. the assignments are also real world based that require ,the students, to undestand the subjects better. there are 3 internal test with lab tests include that test the student's knowledge in the subject

the eligibily might be from 3rd year. There are several companies such as capegemini hitachi patym dmart. 700 offers are offered. Highest is 25 lakh and average is around like 5 lakh. After the completion of my degree i would like to persue higher studies like MS.

Placement stats are pretty good, offers above 50LPA have also been granted to students, but they are not as common. With a good cgpa, 5+ LPA can be ensured. Students from 6th sem become eligible for placements, companies such as TI, Apple, Daimler Trucks etc have come for placements

Placements in our college are good with an average of 9lc per annum, there are many companies that come to our college, some companies are Infosys, Wipro, Paytm, Birla, Microsoft sometimes, and many more. Am planning to get a campus placement.

The 6th,7th and 8th semesters are eligible for campus placement. There are many companies visiting campus but it differs every year. The highest package is 7L-8L and the lowest package is 3L. My plan after getting a degree is to get a job in a good company.

From the 5th semester, students are eligible for campus selection. A lot of companies visit like Bosch, Amazon, Flipkart, aequs, and many more. Around 40% of students get placements in the visited companies. My plan is to start a business by own.

Other colleges were not chosen as my rank wasn't suffecient enough. Comparitively to other entrance exams the best colllege with my rank would have been BMS. Hence the reason for choosing it..Admission process is throgh competetive exams or management quota.Competetive exams taken are COMEDK and KCET...the cutoff ranks again depend on the branch but go as low as 2000 for CS and related branches and upto 50000 for Civil and others..it can go even higher if reservation applied)...Read More

Overall summary of my college in Bengaluru.

I gave first preference to RVCE, but as my rank was less compared to cut off, I was unable to get a seat in the college and I ended up getting the seat in BMSCE which was my 2nd preference. The admission process is easy not much hectic. They will provide all the procedure required for admission. They even have their own mail system, they provide college mail id to all the students. I chose this college because I wanted to pursue CSE and this college seems to be a good option to do so. I did get rejection from a few colleges because I could crack their entrance exam.
